Evelyn totally deserves it, imo.

I hope Evelyn wins followed by Andy 2nd and then Jason 3rd then when it's announced the cameras are transfixed on the ex housemates who think they were higher up in the pecking order, based only upon their narcissistic delusions.
Big Brother, please can we have multi-cameras running on their faces at the same time, plus a slow motion misery cam, maybe some added canned laughter just for us long suffering viewers.

I'd love Evelyn to win - mainly because none of the others expect her to, including Evelyn herself.

The rest think they're in with a chance.

I'd love for her to win but she'll probably be out first unfortunately.

I'd love to see her win for many reasons. Here's just a few: she's not been horrid, aggressive, demanding or hysterical, nor smug, bitter, mardy or entitled. She's kept out of the various stirring and nomming cliques and made her own fun, and not at the expense of anyone else. She's called bullshit where she's seen it. She's the youngest and the furthest from home but she's been the most level-headed and together. It took them till that awful task the other day to finally break down her spirit and equanimity but a day later she's pulled herself back together and is smiling and getting on with it again, with no fuss.

She's been consistently underestimated and yet here she still is, seemingly with growing support as she's just survived a double eviction when few people (me included) thought she'd survive.

I'd love that support to carry her to a top 3 spot with Jayne and Hughie.

Everything you say Angie. I'm really pleased she's made the final.

GREAT post. I fully agree!!

I have to add that with BB (or, indeed, life) you get so many housemates that think they "tell it like it is" but really they're just rude, brash and obnoxious. But with Evelyn she's honest without being horrible, and that's what I like.

Very proud of her.
If she somehow pulls the win I will die
I will be happy no matter what position she comes. You can see how good she felt being a finalist

I wouldn't mind if she won but i don't think she will think Hughie has got it. Out of the 6 left Evelyn, Jayne & Andy were the only ones who didn't press the button for the 20grand which I think was a very selfless thing to do the rest were just greedy. How Jason is in the final I will never know he is the least deserving.

Nah, Evelyn has done nothing, brought absolutely nothing to the table. She doesn't deserve to win.

I would not like Evelyn to win. If she hadn't had the Alex business we would hardly have noticed her.

How so? define 'nothing' and tell me what others have bought to the table that Evelyn has not?

I don't know what there is about Evelyn that makes her a deserving winner. She's harmless fair enough but also a bit insipid.

I think she got overlooked whilst the focus was on the screaming Ryan and the 'I'm funny as fook' Lateysha to be honest.

Evelyn had run ins with others from the off. Natalie and wine gate for instance. She was also a fly in Georgina and Jackson's ointment from the off.

I think Evelyn has been deemed insignificant many times because that's how a lot of the HMs saw her.

Hughie has his outside story, which personally though I don't think it insignificant to him, it is to me in terms of him being an HM.

That has been the running theme this year, how the HM's outside lives have defined them. Ryan and the Sam thing, Charlie (shudder) and Jason, Jackson and his son and 'acceptance', Lateysha and her baby plus implants. Jane and Chelsea big bo**ocks. Andy and his engagement. Laura and her overseas lover.

Those that have been deemed insignificant are mainly those who are 'just' HMs. Alex and Evelyn for instance. No big dramas, no personal struggles on show.

Much was missed about Evelyn, her dad's call for instance, from the other side of the world and all he could comment on was her washing up, yet she cried her eyes out over him.

Maybe Evelyn came into BB simply to be a HM and not to get back at or with someone, or to prove something to the GBP.

For that alone she probably deserves to win.

her wininnng would surprise those others who all think they have it in the bag
it is true that she hasn't done anything wrong in there and hasn't displayed the awful desperate traits all the others are guilty of. her attempts at acting have been minor compared to all the rest,
so for that reason alone she would deserve to win above those other actors and desperado's

The only one left who gives me the impression he thinks he's already got it is Jackson

I'm not too keen on her. The one thing I liked was when she confronted Jackson. The way she persistently humiliated herself by throwing herself at a guy who showed little to no interest in her really made me cringe with embarrassment for her. Desperation is not a good look.

Love her, she's been a fair person throughout while confronting people she needed to. Plus, she's humble to the point where she thinks she has no chance, it'll be nice to see her surprised.

Her, Jayne or Andy to take it

She hasn't been entertaining.
She hasn't once said anything interesting or witty. She's stood there, looked pretty and pouted.
She's literally done nothing. What has she done?
and throwing yourself sans-knickers at the vacuous, stuck-up, sexist hunk of the house doesn't count.
Alex deserves a slap for how he treat her and that whole situation.

Having said that, I have to admit, she's the only one that's had the balls to pull Jackson up on his bullshit but I've a feeling that that's just the calculated annihilation of her main competition. the other radar limboist? limboer?

Please don't die, just roll around on the floor a bit and invent a new dance.

I posted previous to this.

Argued with Natalie, irked Georgina re Jackson big time. Argued with Jackson as you pointed out.

In the scheme of BB she has been a 'normal' HM, too normal for the production crew to bother with. But then so much ends on the editing room floor, Alex for instance has been a rock to a lot of them in there, instead of seeing reality which is what the show is supposed to be about, we are treated to tawdry contrived drama that is pointless and worthless in terms of entertainment.

It becomes old very quickly and hence they have to ramp up the nastiness to top the previous pile of bile. Normal people trapped with only each other and no outside information will provide natural eruptions and natural drama that the production crew at C5 have no concept of.

You've just summed her up for me perfectly. She has been so sidelined for so long that, bless her, she pretty much just accepted it herself, accepted her place and got on with it.

Yet when we did get to see her she had some fantastic qualities.

I love that she's not entitled and doesn't take herself seriously - that's such a big thing in that house. And I will always appreciate the "that's my ex!" When Natalie was revealed and "I loike you Jackson but. Right now. I'm calling bullsh*t".

She also reminds me an awful lot of one of my friends. She's a wee pocket rocket too.

Some great posts here and I agree with all of them.

I think had the show gone on another week or so, Evelyn would've gained more popularity than what she has at present. She's been great from the off, but BB chose to show the more OTT hms and the usual attention seeking chaos.

Well done Evelyn for getting to the final. Now if she was to make final three, that would be amazing.

Have to agree, maybe not with Andy, but Eveie or Jayne in the top 3 would be good with either of them top HM

Totally agree, except I would like to see her in the top 3 with Andy and Jason. That would have more of an impact on the vile Charley, Ryan and Lateysha.
I love Evelyn's positivity, integrity, humour and ability to read people - she's very astute for her age. She hasn't been mean or spiteful. Yes, she made a mistake with Alex, but who hasn't? She was honest and wore her heart on her sleeve and was gracious in defeat. She's a good girl and although I don't think she will win, I would love to see her in the top 3.
