I think the whole point of the series was that we were supposed to dislike the Others Hms and adore the Main House Hms. The Others were supposed to be "intruders", they were supposed to be "villains". They were given tasks to try and break friendships up etc...

That's quite interesting that 2 of the 6 others are still in there, and 4 of the the 12 mains are in there, both one-third of what they were at the start. I have a feeling that when Emma and Rylan reveal their predictions on BOTS latter about who they thought would win on launch night, not one Other would have crossed their minds.

It's odd how that works out, I am pretty sure we were supposed to be Team Main, so in that respect, i think Emma and Rylan expected no Others to be in the house in the final at the start?

I didn't see any other the other house as I was on holiday so I cannot comment.

I think they just put the most volatile housemates all in one place to keep them safe from the first eviction

First of all Marco, Victoria and Emma saw the Others and Alex and Sam in the house. Then in Week 2, they all heard them arguing etc...

It was impossible to drag it out any longer.

The others were supposed to "cause paranoia" in the people in the main house, and generally upset and unnerve them. That didn't really happen, except maybe between Jason and Charlie.

Like pantomime "baddies", I think maybe we were supposed to dislike The Others and "protect" the main housemates. That didn't happen, either.
