Indeed it is

BBs 1,2,3 and 4 were the shortest before this, each lasting 64 days.

At 50 days long Big Brother 2016 is not only the shortest #BBUK ever, but the joint second shortest series ever worldwide

Yeh 50 days so who cares what you talkin' bout, Willis? Youve single handedly spearheaded the decline of the once great BB into the Z-list pantomime it is today.
Shame on you Willis.

Does it really matter how long the series is?

We've had CBBs shorter than this with just as many housemates that have been great series, and this series has been really good as well .

If anything I remember that people used to hate how long the Channel 4 BBs were, saying they ran out of steam, got boring and wanted them to be over. 98 days is too long.

I think one series of the German BB lasted a year!

I'm sorry but I find it hard to believe they made all that effort into refurbishing the house and building a second house for the series to be only 50 days. I have enjoyed the series but I must admit the 'All New Big Brother' was not 'all new' afterall. Quite honestly, the only new thing about it was the outside set and the house interior
