Why did they stop the voting early?

This situation was ideal for a syndicate betting scam.

It has happened before.

I bet you're still not over the fact that LEAVE won the referendum aren't you

Jason won because, at heart, he's a good man who has been through an awful, awful time... and the GB public recognised that.

From the odds I saw earlier if a betting syndicate wanted to make money Jackson would have been their target.

If there had been a sudden influx of betting on Jason his odds would have shortened dramatically. Didn't happen.
