Exactly, it's lost on some though, obviously.

Absolutely.

No wonder this country has gone to the dogs when people mistake rude aggressive behaviour, shagging in front of cameras and slapstick falls into a pool as commendable characteristics.

Absolutely brilliant post. Everything I wanted to say, said better than I could have managed.

He didn't want to draw himself out at all, the guy was an empty vessel for most of the series.

There is not getting involved to save the hassle, then there is no contributing whatsoever for most of its duration......yeah well deserving winner.

Though I agree regarding the older hm they have much more depth.

However Jason's conversations again were seriously void.

Jason was a fantastic housemate who was tested exceedingly.

A very commendable job to him for holding himself as others tried to test the waters trying to cause a storm within him.

It is a very, very good result and I'm very pleased.

I have no idea of what you mean when you say contribute.

run around the garden naked?

get involved in a showmance?

say vile things about other housemates?

pretend to be a model in the snug?

have a row like a screaming banshee?

stick your cock in a ceramic zebras mouth?

throw yourself in the pool after 2 ciders once every two days?

please enlighten me

... Is it ceramic? I assumed it was stuffed. Either way your sentence made me laugh! It's not a sentence you see every day!

if your viewing revolves around said entertainment I feel sorry for you.

Thankfully I look past the gimmicks, I like to understand the person as a whole and not simply all there showboating. That's the side of BB I like, not being spoon Fed. All of them play the game, Jason was no different but it took him 6 weeks to do it.... that's why he's undeserving.

But too be honest I'd rather any form of input rather than none, as you know its a entertainment show. *cough* Jason

He won because more of the voting public wanted him to win, more than any of the others.

Sorry out of all I've read this series this has to be the most comical, sorry hun.

Jason took his noms so personal, and badly more so than many of the hms in there. I think ppl need to look back at the times he was nommed and his reactions that followed.

As for acting up to the camera's, why wait till live t.v. or huge tasks to be honest and stand up?

Sorry but this year BB interfered with much of the nom process, if the decisions were entirely left to the public, or they didn't switch between save and evict the outcome on the final would've been very different. Just look at Ryan and lateysha both would've gone further.

Jason is a truly memorable winner who never show boated or stage schooled around (which the OP sees as evidence of personality).

So many winners have just been prancing ponies - it's wonderful to see someone different winning this year. Ten years ago Jason would have been evicted at about Week 3 and the screaming little kids like Lateysha, Ryan and Hughie would have been in the final six. This year it changed and thank God for that.

Jason was a very respectable, mature man who showed great patience with the young people who did their larks for the camera.

Very well done and a winner before he won

Probably because they were times in which he had to give reasons for nominating people?

I don't get this current trend for being confrontational and 'telling it like it is' all the time.

But they always interfere with the 'normal' process.

He was still the most popular finalist in the eyes of the voting public.

For the worse......

Bbs on its last legs if we have a winner that was simply invisible for the first 6 weeks. From your perspective such a hm is where this series should be headed in the future? then what will we be entertained by for 4/5ths of the series? What a great/memorable hm!

People won't even remember his name next year.

He was involved in one of the biggest moments of the series - the shock eviction of Lateysha. Not to mention the whole drama with Charlie.

He also showed a very strong and caring side when he comforted Andy earlier in the series. He was always the first person to react during a crisis be it the house flood or lifting Jayne out of the pool during her apparent panic attack. Despite accusations of aggression he was always the person who would hold people back when things got heated and never took out his anger on other housemates.

Whether you like it or not he won and did contribute to the series. If he had no input there would not have been so many threads about him on here discussing his actions in the house, post after post discussing whether he's a gameplayer or not. Lambasting him for kicking furniture/messing around with cameras, accusations that all the drama surrounding him was brought on by himself.

If he had no input, those threads wouldn't exist. He wouldn't have been such a strong target of vitriol on BOTS who were discussing him on a daily basis.

Contrast that with someone like Alex who the overwhelming majority of threads were "what has he done" or "who is Alex" etc...

What part of the end of the show aren't people understanding?

As for the drama with Charlie, Charlie WAS the drama. All Jason did was......er let's be friends......marvellous input.

Wow Jason was a support for Andy, what a surprise, two people that don't fit in bonding together. We've never seen that before.

Jason maybe the friendly giant when it suits him, but his other less desirable self/agg is just as dominant.....you can't pick and choose.

Again, I'm not a fan of any, I'm just pointing out the obvious, he's a very poor, forgettable, and undeserving winner.

Any ex hm that's won before him, like them or loathe them they've all contributed much more to the series/hls. Jason was void for the first 6 weeks, he has contributed minimally.

I don't want hms in the future not engaging for most of the series, where will the show be if this game becomes a trend?

Ad for your comments about his threads and him being controversial......AGAIN his agg, decisions, game playing have all come to attention in the last stretch/the last two weeks of the show.....once again.

Come on this series has had much more interference than every series I've watched from the beginning. Since when do the hms have so much power over who leaves, who's safe etc its diabolical really and goes against the premise of the entire game. Jason's lucky he didn't have much more competition tonight that the Twitter lot would've rallied behind i.e. lateysha, Ryan etc
