Just because Jason doesn't bounce off the walls and is hyper like Ryan and other housemates doesn't mean you have no personality lol.

Spot on Brandon. It's like we can't have any nice winners anymore. If you're not a dick you're not entertaining apparently.

Couldn't agree more. Niceness and kindness is equated with no personality.
Who cares though...the nasty gits get nothing, all they do is spew bile. Jason is the WINNER...and 90K to boot |

brandpn my issue with people is they pick and choose who can be reserved and who cant if your gonna say all this about jason is simply calm and laid back then why are you same people slagging off alex for being nthe exact same? is it because alex is young and considered conventionally attractive? makes me wonder.

There's a difference between a Freddie Fisher type of chilled out, to Jason's lack of humour, or fun, or interesting opinions on anything.

Some people are more extroverted than others.

I know, it's really annoying that some people think that. I think many people have just grown so used to the fame hungry wannabe's that are around nowadays, that anyone who is quiet or reserved is regarded as boring or having no personality.

Alex get's the same treatment. Any HM that doesn't argue or get into a showmance get the same treatment, i agree that it's not fair. We see 45 minutes of heavily edited highlights, it's very hard to judge someone fairly.

the reality is that this is big brother, people dont watch it to see reserved people drinking tea, people want to see people who are argumentive, funny, loud and most importantly simply talkative plain and simple. people need to also stop being hyprocrites when it comes to what is boring cause the same people calling out alex on being boring and dull are the same people who accpt jason as being quiet and dull.
It's not even supposed to be about who is boring and who isn't, it's about watching how people cope in a house, living with people they don't know and without things they usually have in their day to day lives. Not who is the most argumentative, who can get into the showmance or get a lot of attention. |

To be fair, Jason IS a bit on the dull side. But he played a hell of a game so he deserved to win.

I say Alex is boring because I see Jason being his true self with Andy in the smoking area hes subtle about it but he cracks jokes and is opinionated, hes just not loud about it. Alex however most of what I'VE seen of him is him being shirtless lying on a deck chair or walking around in the background of the house and I can't be sure what he talks about because he talks through his teeth.
But i think its a misconception that every fit young HM is boring well I don't find them all boring, like James Hill for example I found him fun from the CBB UK Vs USA thing forgot the series hes the only one I can name off the top of my head, though. Oh and I thought Cristian from timebomb had his moments too and Danny but don't know how old he is. |

alex has been callled boring on this forum over and over but when it comes to jason they blame editing. had charlie not been in the house or him evicting letesha there would have been no difference between him or alex.
Jason had a story which people connected with, and they connected because of how he responded within that story. Alex had nothing for people to feel invested, to become emotionally involved. There's the difference between the two during their time on the show, and why one was boring and the other won. |

Both Jason and Alex had very little personality, Alex got on the show because of his looks and Jason got on because of Charlie.
Even Alex would have won if he'd been Charlie's ex. |

He showed his strength of character over & over, he didn't resort to screaming around the house, or indulging in any fauxmances, or have ranting arguments in people's faces for airtime. He was his own man from beginning to end. Well done Jason, you metaphorically stuck to fingers up to the immature producers who tried to break you!
