Oh wow, I used to love the Sugababes during their Mutya/Heidi/Keisha days. Nostalgia! It's a shame that line up didn't last. I liked Amelle too, but I their best music was from when Heidi joined.

I did used to like Girls Aloud too, but I don't have the same nostalgia with them, plus I hate Tweedy, she was always such a cow on X Factor. I'm glad she's not there this year. I think the line up is looking to be good. I love Sharon with Louis and Simon and Nicole was great.

Mark lives in wakefield on a very rough council estate full of poor white people and immigrants. none of which have actually learnt to throw things in the bin.

its not a true reflection of the area and the bigger part of yorkshire, North Yorks is outstandingly beautiful in comparison to the shit hole he lives in

I live in Leeds, some areas are rough but it's not bad where I live.

North Yorkshire is indeed beautiful, especially Goathland and Whitby where I have visited on numerous occasions.

I've only ever been to Wakefield once so can't vouch for the state of it.

Isn't Leeds where they film Emmerdale?

It's the same everywhere there are rough bits and posh bits etc etc
I just think if you are unhappy you might exaggerate and if you think birmingham is better than yorkshire its a sad state of affairs

Yorkshire television studios used to be in Kirkstall/Burley and a lot of stuff was filmed there including Emmerdale. I used to volunteer at a depot for Oxfam in Kirkstall in the late 90s and I saw quite a few of the cast out and about and once when I was going out in the van to deliver stuff to Oxfam shops we went for fuel at the usual garage on Burley road and I went to get some chocolate and a drink from the garage shop and stepped back onto the foot (by accident of course) of Peter Amory who played Chris Tate, i apologised and he was very nice about it but I felt a bit of a twit!

I've had encounters with a couple of other ED stars but I'll tell you about it later on.

Isn't it Birmingham where Mark1974 lives?

I've never been there so I don't know what it's like but I love the accent and have been known to do a good impersonation of a Brummie accent.

How rude!

Birmingham has extremely nice areas and areas which are dumps. Thats what you get with cities.

I havent spent much time in Yorkshire. I thought Leeds was a nice city but i didnt venture from the city centre. Whitby is a lovely little town, fantastic chips. Scarborough was nice too, although a little run down.

Never been to Scotland, will hopefully get around to it at some point.

There's a few alright places, but IMO it's a bit of a shithole in most place...

Personally the accent gets on my nerves
