Indeed
It's poor stereotyping
and i don't believe in labels personally. So calling a thread "gay" is just to me a bit wrong.
please don't read the previous 200 pages or you will be seriously offended.

It was a bit of humour thats all

I'm straight, and Zeus and Ben say they are, but we know how persuasive Grad is and I'm sure he took Ben into that barn

So are there any more Madonna fans (casual or even non fans) on here?

Or has my topic been a failure?

Shame as I thought I might have got lots of decent posts about it here, i was going to post it in the music forum but any Madonna threads on there tend to get spoiled by trolls.
I don't think I've ever heard one of her songs?

Thank you for acknowledging my castle and Palace is the real royal deal yesterday.

Your respect for your natural superiors is admirable.

ooh yes, I am liking warren back and putting him with Sienna was a great idea, they just need to get rid of Nico cos she is dragging Sienna down

yes I saw it earlier but it is right, lots of gay couples in soap but I can't think of any professional ones and Jame's house is fab
Nico definitely needs to go, wish Trevor wasn't killed off though, but Warren and Sienna is a good replacement.

They could become a power couple as they both have flaws, but JP definitely brings out James' softer side, like in tonight's episode where he seems to have genuine affection for JP but it's being prevented from showing by his guard.

So are there any more Madonna fans (casual or even non fans) on here?

I like Holiday a lot, and a few other songs, but I'm more a casual fan. I did like some songs on the album she released last year, in particular Ghosttown and Joan of Ark, they're good.

The songs I know and like are probably seen as the mainstream popular ones because these are the ones I have heard the most.

Ghosttown is a lovely song and I like Joan Of Arc as well but my fave is Wash Over Me.

I tend to prefer her older songs though.

After using YouTube I've realised I have heard a few (Express Yourself and Material Girl, and a few others), but for some reason I thought Material Girl was by Scissor Sisters

Exactly.
I have never been one for all the PC nonsense in the world.

i should check this thread much more then

There are a lot of gays on here but I wouldn't say it's a gay thread.

I post here and I'm straight.

I just mentioned Madonna because it's her birthday and I thought she and/or her music might make a good topic for discussion.
You dont need to explain yourself. I just meant it as a joke.

Indeed

But it is cheap and a bit crappy to call a thread "gay" because of talk of Madonna

It's also very juvenile as well.
I dont see how. I am Gay and i can't say i like or dislike Madonna.

It wasn't even the Madonna comments i was talking about anyway.

I'm still struggling to work out if James is doing it for that bet though - I hope not because I actually like John Paul when he's with James.

I prefer Fabulous, Marnie-hating James to normal James though

I think her older stuff was her best too. I do like Hung Up but I suppose that might not be considered newer anymore

yeah I wish Trevor had lived too!

they so need to delve into Jame's backstory. I watch ch4 pace and the stuff with Marnie, his ex and the way he is, is interesting.

also from what marnie said I am wondering if James is maybe not Macs or is that something known already

Other songs of hers I like are La Isla Bonita, Express Yourself, Vogue, Like a Prayer etc. There's lots of recognisable ones I like but the lesser known ones I'm not a fan of.

I think James was doing it for a bet with Joanne originally but in tonight's E4 he seemed to have genuine feelings for JP, they just needed pulling out of him since James seems to have barriers, possibly from his other relationship with that man he had lunch with and he got heart broken or something and that's why he's sarcastic and pushes people away.

I do too, he was excellent having a go at Marnie!

Aye, those were the days!

Are you an oldie too?

And I'm glad my location is getting noticed, I changed it for fun.

That man is so naughty, interrogating me all the time, he needs to watch where he's poking his cane though!
