It was good i thought, a lot of Todd and Billy scenes which I don't mind but i'm more intrested in the platts.

When I read this comment back I realised it sounded like I was making a joke, but I actually mean it as a serious storyline ... honest...

I think that Sean should become the victim of a gay serial killer, like the guy in Barking who murdered four men and attempted to murder many others.

Any storyline where it involves Sean's exit from the street is a story worth telling

It's a shame that in most cases after an actor has done 10 years or so on Corrie, it seems to be the case that they gain immunity from being axed.

If you could axe Sean how would you do it?

Can't do any worse than Kirkwood

Agreed. I can think of loads who should be axed, e.g. Sean, Tracey, Elieen and Maria off the top of my head.

I would have him killed off on there BGT week, in one of there stunts, his death would occur off-screen, like Kal. For his death maybe killed in a fire? Corrie loves fire

The one with the four bosses, Daran Little, David Liddiment and then some random soap actors?

I really enjoyed it, I should probably watch it again at some point. I was most interested in what Daran Little had to say but he came across as a bit of an up-himself tosser. Even though he was locking horns with Blackburn he was acting like a spoilt brat (though that's an insult to spoilt brats).

What did you think?

I think he should die during BGT, I agree with you. Maybe he could go crazy at Todd and Billy and do a Zoe Tate from Emmerdale meets Mad Maya and set fire to the church with them held hostage inside. They escape and Sean dies when the church roof collapses on top of him.

I also enjoyed, found it really interesting to hear the perspectives of the bosses and the actors too. Some of the stuff Blackburn said about not doing in soap, he had done himself, so a bit hypocritical , I liked Kate the most I think she had some interesting points to make.

Kate Oates came across as a real class act, like she really knew what she was doing, especially compared to the others. Daran Little was like a spoilt brat, Blackburn like a clueless oaf and and DTC like an over-excited superfan. Kirkwood basically said he didn't give a shit about his audience because they were thick

Something like that would be great, but I hope they stop going big for BGT week, and do these types of things at other points in the year. Kate Oates spread out the drama at Emmerdale throughout the year, and seems to be a fan of celebrating the "birthdays" so maybe we'll get a big week in December this year? Personally, I'd like to see Emmerdale do a big week for next years BGT week, won't happen though.

That's a very accurate way to sum them up
Also Kate Oates looked hot

Kate Oates might hold more sway with ITV than Blackburn or Collinson have done in the past. As we know, the BGT week is forced upon Corrie by ITV so maybe some firm words from KO could see them take a break from it next year.

I'd love a big week in the first week of December, that sets the show up for Christmas. Could be a really strong period for Corrie. In the past Corrie used to always go for a strong New Year, but in the past 10 years or so that has gradually faded.
