I sometimes post during the day as well.
Maybe it should be renamed 'The Soap Section Anytime Of The Day Off Topic' thread so then it's open to people posting at any time of the day!

Why would it get closed?
I sometimes post during the day even though it is really meant for the night rakes among us who stay up til the wee hours but it doesn't mean posts can't be added during the day or like Skylover said posts should only occur during a certain period of time.

If we should only be able to post here from 10 till 8, then people should only be able to post in all the threads on the MF between 8am and 10pm?
