Evening KK

Me, Danny and Zeus recalled school days and bullies, amongst other things

And good evening from cold, wet, misty Wales
So you three were the school bullies? Everything makes sense now!

Oh God

Mrs F's making a great comeback, first #WhoKnockedUpKK? now she's landed a role in a musical!
Let's put the playlist together tonight.

I'm thinking of a big and brassy rendition of the 'Cellblock Tango' from Chicago starring other soap bitches, psychopaths and murderesses including Mad Maya, Kim Tate and many others.

I agree with you Ben, at least it's much cooler than it has been the past few nights

Mrs Fanshaw isn't a psycopath or a bitch

Of course not, even though she's crashed a helicopter onto the street, gone on a crossbow rampage and faked her own death and used Liz McDonald's corpse to cover it up. No way is she a bitch or psychopath

Mrs Fanshaw could open with "Good Morning Weatherfield"- a retweaked rendition of Good Morning Baltimore from Hairspray.

Yes, you have completely ruined the iconic character with your sensasionalist plots

Perfect! Absolutely perfect!

We also need Mrs Fanshaw to lead a huge, glitzy and show-stopping rendition of 'Consider Yourself' from Oliver.

Absolutely! That would fit brilliantly with her opening her new and improved Rovers with Mrs Fanshaw being the dodger to the Rovers regulars and welcoming them to her new establishment.

It really was and the confrontation in the kitchen and the way she lied to manipulate him into lashing out at her was great drama.

Loved Dr Foster too, it was fantastic.

Can't really see how they're going to milk it for another series though. I'd have been happy with just the one.

Are they doing another series?

I thought it had a decent conclusion as it was

Do you think there's much likelihood of this happening again or was it a one off for last year? I would tend to think the latter as these types of festivals rarely repeat things.

Saying that, I'd love it to happen again and I'd love to be in the audience!

I'm fairly sure it was recommissioned for a second series though I may be wrong ...

EDIT: DS article about series 2 here

Yep, there will be a series 2, Suranne confirmed that filming would begin soon at the NTA's. I'm also quite surprised, but looking forward to it at the same time.

I've got Ordinary Lies starting in a few weeks though for my drama fix

I agree KK, probably a one off, but I live in hope
