What do you think I PM'd QueenHilda?

Good afternoon
I've never been in a chatroom before, I don't understand how they work.
Can someone explain a little to her majesty who as a result of spending so much time ruling over and enjoying essential sexual services of her subjects is actually a bit of a luddite?

Basically it's like a thread but easier to manage. We all just talk about whatever we want without risk of being banned, and it's easier follow.

Do we have to join something in order to take part or is it more casual?

Screw Youtube. Now Fulleps channel has been taken down. In case nobody knows, the user uploaded episodes from January to September 2009, although had to stop due to copyright. Seven years later of no activity, it has been removed meaning my favourite stuff with Tony Gordon is gone forever. Oh yeah, and also the great scenes with the Barlows like Ken, Deirdre, Blanche, Peter and Simon.

Screw the copyright. So much old Corrie is being lost. Hardly going to be anything left soon.

I share your anger callum. So ****ing annoying, especially when it's clear the ITV has no interest in putting any worthwhile clips from old Corrie online. They're happy to flood their official YouTube channel with shite from the past few years but anything substantial from the past is just gone.

It's frustrating that ITV insist on purging the episodes yet clearly have no intention of releasing them in anyway themselves. The only other explanation is that they are doing it to prevent us from reliving better days of Corrie and comparing it to shit like the factory walkout. Late last year I discovered the Auntie Corrie channel and the one that had episodes from 2002 on and decided to watch them later, when I finally got round to it all had been removed.

Yep, it is frustrating. Youtube is just a joke now.

Wish Corrie would upload clips of the classics, I'd rather watch them than the bullshit they tread out now. Maybe that's the point, they don't want to a majority of people to see how far the show has fallen.

EDIT:
Looks like Foxster Hotpot got in there before me.

I actually remember watching a "Greatest moments of Gail" or something compilation they had put together and it was made up of majority of clips from the last three years or so. That told me everything I needed to know about the official Corrie channel

We've discussed this before (I think - or least I have with other FMs)

I do think a big part of it is that ITV don't want people to be able to watch classic Corrie so that they can see how bad the show now is. They have select clips from old episodes on the official YouTube account that are all embarrassingly boring and fulfil their 'Corrie is great' agenda.

For instance, there's this video they've put on recently called 'Sally's best moments' and it's essentially 1 minute 30 seconds of pre-2010 clips (a random argument with Gail, Sally giving birth to Rosie and another random scene with Kevin and Emily) and then NINE minutes of material featuring Sally over the past few years. Nothing from her first appearance in 1986, her time living with Hilda Ogden, her fights with Natalie Barnes after Kevin's affair was revealed, nothing from the early 2000s with the girls growing up or even much from her cancer storyline or the Molvin reveal or the 50th anniversary live ... it's an embarrassment and a kick in the teeth to the 30 years of history that this single character has built up.

The clips still exist, but the full episodes are deleted along with everything else.

I've watched it and agree with everything you said! Ridiculous! If they are going to bother doing compilations they might as well do them properly.
