It's probably because it would get far more readers if they focus on the homophobes as opposed to those who praised it.

To be honest though it was good they did the scene like they did, with both Todd and Billy getting into it and kissing passionately like that. Anything to piss off homophobes just that little bit more.

For me it's when the older characters play tonsil tennis, reminds you of your parents doing it.

Don't mind it so much with the younger characters though.
