I know.

It used to be very busy at one time, even if it was mostly mucky talk!

Is she going to get everyone to cover her arse for what she did 'for the greater good?'

Currently, I am liking EE more than I have done in a LONG time. It's weird that once SOC kicked in each episode has a different feel to it, there seems to be better characterisation and script writing, the characters are more realistic and lifelike, the humour has vastly improved and, even though nothing of major importance has happened, each episode has a superb mix of drama and lighter/humorous moments that really brings out the characters in a new light.

Before they broke up, I actually cared for Sonia and Tina, Sonia pulling Shirley off her high horse was a brilliant scene, whilst Tina struggling to care for Sylvie by herself whilst working was done in a way that I cared for her and felt for her when she was talking about it to Shirley. Same with Stacey and Martin, you can empathise with them about their need for a bigger house. It's amazing that changes to the writing makes such a huge difference.

The whole show just feels different, it feels more grounded and everyday. I also love that there is mystery surrounding SOC, makes a refreshing change from DTC and his verbal diarrhoea.

Sorry, gone on a bit there! But I can't believe how EastEnders just feels different as a whole.

I very much agree with your first paragraph which makes me all the more furious with his reactionary axings that were done too quickly without thought to what he could do to bring the characters to life. For me Pam and Les were easy pickings but it was absolutely the wrong decision, and if he kills Ronnie as rumoured I will not be at all impressed.

Is she the one Ian and Jane are selling the car too?

I'm a bit annoyed he's axed Pam and Les, they are brilliant and have provided some of the best scenes from this year. But I agree about Ronnie though, I hope he doesn't kill her off, or Roxy, they just need a break and can come back in a few years time. It would be silly to kill them off because Peggy is dead now and there would be a lack of Mitchell women in the family, plus Phil seems closest to Ronnie and Roxy is a decent character when given proper storylines not centred around sleeping with her sisters men. I also think axing Lee was a mistake, there is lots more they could do with him. But, since he's going, I hope his exit is just him disappearing without a trace, because he can't cope with getting married and having a baby. Plus it would provide some excellent material for the Carters.

Wow, there is a God!

Also, you've changed your tune, I wasn't "a bore" a few weeks ago

That figures!

Your absence is also the cause of the current lack of mucky talk on here.
