So I've either had a five day hangover or I'm ill.

BUT I had a thought today, and I'm suddenly feeling a bit better.

IT'S CHRISTMAS! (sorry)
noooo not yet

woah, you have a lot going on! You must be really strong to manage all of those things

Do you find your anxiety gets worse when your depression is better, or is it just both at the same time?
I need beta-blockers just to get out the house no matter how bad the depression is, as I have a deep fear of crowded places but on the other hand I put myself through the ringer as one of my hobbies is going to concerts and comedy clubs etc so I usually do about 30 or 40 a year but need medication just to get through it I have a lot of health problems though between my mum and I we get about 40 items on prescription

wow that's a lot We shouldn't let it get in the way of the things we enjoy anyway, crowds give me anxiety too but if we want to do something you have to find a way. If that means medication it's good if it works for you

I saw it in college earlier and fell about laughing

Good evening everyone
Good evening Mr Silver

I have suffered depression for years and am on medication for severe anxiety so I know how that feels I live a fairly hectic life though, my mum is 80 and I'm her carer, My b/f is great but works in London Tuesday to Friday and we live in Glasgow. I also own two shops that are run by staff as I am not well enough to work too much at present but you still have to keep on top of things.
Omg you have so much going on! Hope things get better for you soon

My anxiety has flared up this week too, like Gleeky's it seems to happen when you're happy. Plus there was some drama at college today making it worse unfortunately.

So I've either had a five day hangover or I'm ill.

BUT I had a thought today, and I'm suddenly feeling a bit better.

IT'S CHRISTMAS! (sorry)
I'm sure Aaron will nurse you back to health

Talking of Christmas, Tesco has mulled spice washing up liquid in today

Yeah, I think I have a theory about why that is- something about being scared that something terrible is going to happen because you've let your guard down and felt happy? I mean, if you're feeling down then you feel ready for bad things happening and in fact things might get better, but if you're in a great mood then things can't get better and could get worse

Haha drama in college, oh man there was so much of it for me today as well. I think I was actually kind of a bitch because I was so sick of people's BS

That's a good theory though, I think it's a case of feeling happy but constantly having a nagging voice convincing you that something bad is going to happen or that you haven't done something you needed to do.

I swear half of the class get on my tits (and I don't even have any so you can imagine)! Basically, we are doing a health promotion event and the class has been split into two groups. The group I'm in consists of a girl group of about six who I'm mutual friends with and a few other girls l'm friends with. The tutor says we can go at 2pm as she has to leave (this was before lunch) but during lunch the girl group decided to leave college early, leaving me and the other girls with planning the whole event. what things to do etc. We do this and they message us demanding to know what we're doing and then get pissy about it when it's not what they wanted to do. Well I'm sorry love but if you wanted to play a part in this you should have bloody stayed and helped!

Yes! that describes exactly how the anxiety feels to me glad it's not just me

Omg group projects are the worst. Seriously, how come nobody can ever cooperate with each other?? Somehow you always end up doing most of the work yourself but at least you've got a few others who are taking part, if the others don't show up they can't complain about what they're doing!

It was a similar thing that happened to me today. In Psychology we were split into groups and each given a topic to make a presentation about. I got one sensible girl in my group and the rest were boys who goof off. I arranged a group meeting in the library, but one of the boys left early, and the others took AGES to follow me and then when I tried to plan our project they kept talking over me asking what should they do

They couldn't sit still for ten minutes before they ran off so we might as well give up this project now

That is how it feels to me anyway. And panic attacks feel like an asthma attack (which I have had in the past) but yeah it's not just you.

Exactly! No one ever seems to co-operate yet expect you to do the work and them take credit. One of those girls had a real queenie strop just because she couldn't get her own way and left the group! She'll be coming back next Thursday

Glad to know someone else understands too hate it when people don't listen then expect you to tell them every little detail about the project. Plus, once it got to two o'clock, everyone practically left! It's like nobody is bothered about learning and getting an education and are happy to sit in class and talk about free condoms!

I know right! I wonder why do they bother to come to college? is it just to have a social place to hang out? it's not like school which is mandatory. Sometimes I get so annoyed because I'm trying to learn and especially in Maths, which is my worst subject, I really need to concentrate but they make it impossible

They're still come back because they need you to do the project

It's great I wouldn't say it's cruel - people post pictures KNOWING that they're going to be roasted. I've not posted a picture for reasons I've privately told you - but I'm still commenting on everyone else

Yes,the goodnight sweetheart one was the best. The young hyacinth was ok but not a patch on the original! Porridge wasn't too bad but are you being served was dire and an embarrassment

Goodnight sweetheart was kinda just a continuation of the series.hopefully a new series will follow.

Sure I read it wasn't "pc " for an allo allo remake
There was an article in one of the papers about an Allo Allo remake and how it was decided against because of it being un-pc and their fear of offending people.

I'm extremely glad they didn't bother remaking it because it probably would have been lame and boring as the fact it is totally un-pc is part of why it is hilariously funny, it was of its time but when I watch it now it makes me wonder how they got away with stuff that was done and said in the program but I suppose things were different back then.
