Look I apologise if I've been a a pain in the arse regarding the smutty talk I understand that people like a laugh and that's good and no it isn't doing any harm and I can have my smutty moments too but the point I'm trying to make is that if anyone tries to start a conversation that isn't suggestive in any way their post can get lost amongst the suggestive stuff and get missed and make people feel ignored.

Sometimes people like to talk about non suggestive stuff as well.

Oh and I started a thread but I don't know how well it will do!

Fair enough. I can't speak for anyone else, obviously, but I'll personally try to make more of an effort in future to broaden my topics of conversation. I do often get carried away with myself when I'm in 'smutty mode' .

All it does is split the comments and makes other threads ie this one quieter. So I wont be posting to it

I am quite annoyed about it. For days complaints have been made an yet all it was was making complaints instead of actually trying to start conversations and us all saying you are welcome start the converasations and we will join in. I think it poor form. Sorry if that upsets anyone I am just been honest with my thoughts.

If you don't want to post on my thread then that's your choice I'm not forcing you to and if my or anyone else's thread makes this or any other thread quieter then maybe that's because they prefer the conversation there to the ones running here or maybe just because it's new, i wasn't trying to 'poach anyone, I'd say that most people in here might prefer this thread to mine and follow your lead and not post in my thread either but that's entirely their choice but it does make me feel a bit sad that I have made a thread that people won't post in!

I will see how the thread does but I'm thinking more and more about leaving the forum or at least having some time off.

I think that what Lea means is that you've now sort of branded this thread as the dirty one where only smut is allowed, whilst yours is a cleaner one, whereas that was never the threads intention.

It's all well and good posting about us being too smutty, but not once in the past few days have you attempted to begin a conversation about something else.

People like me, Lea, Grad ETC can't be expected to start all of the conversations for you, we can't read minds. The best thing to do is try and start a conversation - is someone has something to add or wants to talk about it they will, and if not maybe note that and try and talk about something different. Half of MY posts in here aren't commented on, same with the others, as people clearly didn't see it, have something to say about it or want to talk about it.

Like Lea I'm not trying to upset people, I'm just being real.

I have to agree with Danny here, and at the risk of being branded cliquey again. I think we could've moved forward without a second thread. As Danny says, it's all very well to cry 'no sex please', but if no-one is actually offering up alternative topics of discussion, and just complaining instead, then we are obviously going to just continue with our usual topics/banter, aren't we?

Same actually I don't feel very ill but it's just one of those colds that won't shift and leaves you feeling knackered. Hope you feel better soon, too

On the topic of cliques, which I've seen we've been called in the other thread, I don't get how that works. Not once have we refused to talk to a new poster. Gleeky's been on the thread for a week or two and she's already posting regularly and joining in with various conversations, same with Marianne and Ozzy!
