Hey Grad hope the cold clears up soon I've been out all day to escape the noise. I am having external insulation done to the building and it is surrounded by scaffolding and very noisy workmen

Cheers, Aaron. I had almost no voice last week but it's creeping back. I only sound like I've smoked 50 today

I assume they are not eye-candy workmen then?

I don't think I'd get anywhere, they ignore you when you speak to them, I think they are Polish or something and don't know how good their English is, and I couldn't possibly chat up workman, at least not in front of the b/f

Yep. Glad I did.

There is no reason or need for a second thread. Ben tried it died.

All it does is split the comments and makes other threads ie this one quieter. So I wont be posting to it

I am quite annoyed about it. For days complaints have been made an yet all it was was making complaints instead of actually trying to start conversations and us all saying you are welcome start the converasations and we will join in. I think it poor form. Sorry if that upsets anyone I am just been honest with my thoughts.

Anyone is welcome on the thread that posts about soaps and needs any down time
I agree with this. The arguments (or disagreements) that have ensued on this thread have spoilt it, and now we have two which was never the intention.

I think that what Lea means is that you've now sort of branded this thread as the dirty one where only smut is allowed, whilst yours is a cleaner one, whereas that was never the threads intention.

It's all well and good posting about us being too smutty, but not once in the past few days have you attempted to begin a conversation about something else.

People like me, Lea, Grad ETC can't be expected to start all of the conversations for you, we can't read minds. The best thing to do is try and start a conversation - is someone has something to add or wants to talk about it they will, and if not maybe note that and try and talk about something different. Half of MY posts in here aren't commented on, same with the others, as people clearly didn't see it, have something to say about it or want to talk about it.

Like Lea I'm not trying to upset people, I'm just being real.

Good luck with your new thread though.
Agreed, summed it up perfectly. We can't be the ones to start conversations, and then we do it's not the subject others want to talk about.

I'm good thanks, still have a cold but hey ho

Dying for the weekend to come, this cold I have is a mother-

You're that alright

I'm extremely sorry if it seems that I have branded this thread the 'dirty' thread because that wasn't the intention, if people want to let their hair down by talking mucky then they're free to do that by all means, i'm not the smut police but it is really hard to get a conversation about another topic going once the smutty talk is going on as the thread moves so fast that posts tend to get lost (which is why, Danny, i haven't started any topics on anything else) and so missed or ignored.

So when someone suggested I start my own thread where a bit more balanced conversation may take place I thought why not?

Maybe like Lea, said we don't need another thread and my thread will probably die, if this turns out to be so then Lea can say she told me so and I will suck it up and admit defeat.

And for the record people on here have always been mostly friendly to me and I appreciate that people do reply when they can and Danny has had at least two non smutty convos with me and I'm not one of the people who believe there is a clique on here.

Sorry again for being such a pain in the arse.

Yes he takes the latest flight he can on way down and gets first one back. He wouldn't get as good a job in Scotland, he is an interpreter and speaks 17 languages

Wow! I wish I could speak two.

Dying for the weekend to come, this cold I have is a mother-
I know how you feel, I've got an one at the moment but I can feel it's getting worse, flu style.

Aw they suck!

What's everyone planning to do tonight? I'm catching up on the last two episodes of Our Girl ATM
Are you enjoying it? I didn't watch it bit I know opinions were mixed. Michelle Keegan being in it is definitely a plus point however!

Don't sweat it Retro, there is nothing wrong with two threads, there plenty of different topic of conversation going on the forum and luckily people have a choice in that.

Don't feel guilty seriously its a waste of energy.

Yes but my mum is 80 and we care for her and she won't move, and we actually quite like Glasgow and it's way cheaper than London . If you were to transplant my house to a middle price range part of London it would probably be worth 3 or 4 million And believe me in Glasgow it's only mid 6 figures

I loved the first three, but struggled to find time to watch the last two. I've decided to finish it on Saturday, all I want to do right now is sleep

Michelle Keegan's presence is definitely a plus point, and IMO she's just as good as Lacey was.
