I watched thought it was great, I know that there is a lot of criticism of it on the main forum but as a viewer who has returned to watching this year, and doesn't have the allegiances and hates of regular viewers I found it fantastic. I am still neutral on many characters but I really loathe Pierce with a passion.

I am a regular viewer have been for many a year and it is my no1 soap and yet I don't have any of the hate that some do

Yep he is awful, I so wanted him to be dead. I worry that possibly Rhona or Paddy might die

I thought Emmerdale was great! The stunt had me open mouthed the whole time. Loved how more and more card kept on crashing and this continued into the second episode with that motorcyclist being flung off his bike.

This is the first time I have watched Emmerdale live since last years helicopter crash. Normally I will catch up on itv hub as I watch Hollyoaks at 7, but Emmerdale is great and always seems to get the balance right, plus their stunts are epic and cannot be beaten!

Watching ED is like a mirror to me as I used to live in a village just like it! Well, without the numerous stunts, fires, car crashes, sieges, murderers, scammers etc . The only bit of drama we had was when one of the neighbours had a heart attack and the air ambulance helicopter had to fly really low over our house as their house was so close! (Incidentally, this happened a week after ED's helicopter crash so was a bit wary ). Oh, there was that and neighbourly disputes, plus cars driving so erratically around the lanes you nearly get run over all the time!

I know there is banter on both the EE and ED threads, but I do find some of the ED stuff quite extreme or is that just me?

Hello

No drones thank god, even though the helicopter came flying over around 9pm ish and I was absolutely convinced it was going to crash on either the house or in a field or something. Lots of planes used to fly over that area as well though, they were high up but you could spot them quite easily.

I had the unfortunate experience when I was younger to be in a relatives car close to the scene of the Lockerbie bombing and I would not wish to witness anything similar again

Last night was an exception but I don't normally bother with the ED daily thread. Don't even read it

Sorry to hear that Aaron, that must have been terrible for you. I recently watched a documentary on Lockerbie and it was really hard to watch. I was always scared to death of something similar happening where I lived. I actually had several nightmares about it. One was basically the Emmerdale Plane Crash, it was always a scary thought that it could happen, even though it was unlikely.

It's been moved to the backend of beyond or better known as chatter in the general discussion forum.
