In a few weeks it will be dark in the mornings too

I don't mind driving in the dark so much it's more having to put up with knobs who think cos it's dark the rules of the road no longer apply!

You did thank me at the time, I believe the awards should bring the forum together and strongly believe the votes should be public, and posters should accept the votes as intended and not go in the huff when somebody who they get on with doesn't necessarily vote for them. PM'ing the votes is cowardly imo. I realise that these awards pre-date my existence on here, but this forum should be fun, not filled with envy and jealousy. I didn't expect to win what I did because in my opinion there are fantastic posters on here, far better than me, I think I only got the votes because I'm fairly prolific on the soap forum, how Lea managed Chatterbox award is beyond me

It was really nice to win it though. The awards are great as you can show appreciation for members, plus the work Dully puts into them is amazing. It's a shame certain people come along and say how cliquey they are when they're not at all. There was lots of new winners this year.

No one can hate a character as much as you do for Philth and the other Mitchells.

I was thrilled in the first year when I got newcomer because I had only been on a couple of months, and I have to admit initially I screamed about cliques but came to realise that familiarity simply breeds conversation, people are not excluded, although on fast moving threads it can seem that way at times. Once you get used to the flow of the threads you quickly realise that cliques don't really exist, it's just some people's soh fits some people and not others (and some don't know what a sense of humour is ) and some are more prolific than others and therefore converse with more people.
