It's scary to think that it could have been you and your friends or other people would turn around and say 'Oh well he agreed to it so it's his own doing'. I'm not surprised you tore into them, they deserved it by the sounds.
Like I was saying to KK before, surely the police must have recognised the similarities between all of the bodies showing up? I mean, the same woman found two of them in the same place within three weeks of each other! Surely that was something to make someone somewhere go 'Are these related?' The police clearly assumed the deaths were the aftermaths of seedy gay orgies. Even if that had been the case, why didn't they crack down on them to protect vulnerable young men being lured into them? ![]() Quote:
It is mainly to do with being lonely and wanting somebody, but quick 5 minute meets tend to be really soul destroying because you barely speak a sentence to the other person, just get on with it and go. You begin to think after a while what is the point and it is so much better to not do it.
It is better, isn't it? Like, as opposed to getting on with it, you're actually building up to it by pulling them in the first place. You build an attraction and also a friendship. Like you say, not every meet is going to end with being killed, but you do put yourself in a dangerous position and it could end in any way, like being kidnapped, drugged up to the eyeballs and used, pimped, raped etc and you don't think about it at the time because you're caught up in the horniness of the situation. My friends used to say things like 'Oh if I were you I'd be having meets all the time' but they don't realise how soul destroying and dangerous it is. It's more often awkward and leaves you feeling even worse. I can't even think of one really memorable meet. Some are fine, but nothing compares to actually striking up a conversation with someone and going home with them In some ways I think meeting up on apps is worst for gay people than straight people because there's a lot more loneliness and insecurity involved and that attracts a lot of horrible closet cases, homophobes in disguise or disturbed individuals like that Port ![]() Meets are the sex equivalent of fast food: quick, convenient and feel good at the time but make you a bit sick afterwards Quote:
Ooh we're growing up
I have such responsibility now, university application is hopefully being sent off before Christmas as well. ![]() ..... Good luck with the uni application. Edinburgh has unis by the way, four of 'em

I know, right? It couldn't have been any MORE obvious that the murders were connected. The second/third guy (can't remember, exactly) was killed in Port's flat which was a stone's throw away from the graveyard. He wasn't exactly a criminal mastermind.
The police clearly assumed the deaths were the aftermaths of seedy gay orgies. Good luck with the uni application. Edinburgh has unis by the way, four of 'em ![]() You tend to forget the meets pretty soon, none of them were really that good either. It's always better to meet people the normal way ![]() There's always lots of aggressive people on Grindr as well, mainly due to pent up hate and it's always worse overall like you said. Lots of the accounts are fakes too, even though that's the case with all dating apps. Thanks Liverpool is better though just stuck on what to choose as a course

It's more about looking after the women though and ensuring the baby has a safe delivery really, but it's probably not the best pleasant job.

Considering the student debt you will have at the end maybe you should choose what course will give you the career you want. If you live in halls you will meet folk on other courses to party with at weekends anyway so it shouldnt restrict you too much |

Sorry I didn't mean to make light of it. Quote:
It literally could not have been more obvious! The woman with the dog found two bodies in the same location and like you said, Port wasn't a master criminal. I agree, whatever the circumstances, it still should have been fully investigated, not the Police passing it off as nothing. If it was a female prostitute it probably wouldn't have been swept aside.
I felt so sorry for that guy's flatmate/friend. It would be bad enough that your friend had been murdered, but to be continously brushed off by the police? He even had to contact media outlets to ask THEM to contact the police on his behalf. It wasn't until another body turned up that they started listening to him. Quote:

Thanks
Liverpool is better though, just stuck on what to choose as a course ![]() Plus, I suppose it is quite close to you.I do know from friends that Psychology can be a real headache. It's a lot more statistical/mathematical than you would realise, which is fine if you enjoy that but most people take the course thinking it is more theoretical. Quote:
