Hm, not sure yet. I hope Corrie doesn't make like of it and make it too cosy and t'Northern.

A bold move, but that is the EP's style of storytelling so not entirely unexpected for her to take such a decision.

Wow, dark twist to go down. Bethany is such a trusting character in older men, due to having no dad growing up, so I guess it's in character. It's difficult to see Corrie getting the tone right though.
It's a bit like Sarah and the grooming isn't it? |

Very true, it might also help to make Corrie a decent programme again.

You are
![]() I wish, bloody Kasim got in there first. How am I supposed to compete with a guy in a coma? ![]() It's my favourite Star Wars even though Empire is considered the best. Massive money drain and it'll be so expensive nobody can afford it anyway. Government talks about investing in the north but it'll lead to easier access to London in reality. And I don't like countryside being destroyed. Wish they'd invest more in the Midlands as well, north gets enough publicity these days, what about us? ![]() ![]() Mine too, actually. Thought I like Empire a lot too. Exactly. Everything in this country is about London, London, London. Wales won't even see any of the high-speed rail. It's ridiculous. If they're going to spend all that money, it should be used for the benefit of the most amount of people. |

I think it's well on its way to that if they would just cut out the stupid storylines like the Maria nonsense and Mary tracking down her long lost son.

(Guessing you don't watch Emmerdale? )The Luke and Yoda stuff bores me, but the Hoth scenes are good and I love the cloud city and the ending with Vader. Agreed. If only our government was like that. |

I do agree with this, it's more watchable, even though I prefer EE (ducks and runs) Corrie is far better now than it was at the start of the year.

So true. This Maria-Aidan shit bores me to tears
![]() Although, what's the alternative, an exciting storyline with Ches and Sinead?

Did you like the prequels? I know right? Our govt. is terrible compared to other countries. ![]() No. Awful, awful, awful. Boring story, bad acting, too much CGI. ![]() But what's the alternative? Jeremy "blundering" Corbyn? Services in this country are at bursting point: social care is close to collapsing, the prisons are failing (see recent problems at HMP Birmingham,) the train system's broken. A new alternative is needed that's not Labour. If only the SNP would come to England

EE is the one I like the most, but that's just me. I gave it an 8 on the thread about how you think it is right now because I enjoy it a lot, however it's not perfect by any means.

Emmerdale cracks me up. You have great stuff with Ashley's dementia and then you have Nicola glueing a clown wig to Jimmy's head. Talk about polar opposites!

I hate the SNP though, so you can have them Although, a lot of their policies are good. I just wish he had a British-wide equivalent. I think we need to chuck them all out and start again, tbh.
