When have you ever said "quality"? Get back in your lane”

I am very sorry but you quoting yourself made me giggle gleeky

Hi Neil,

I agree in some respects, its likely the change of forum software will have an impact. They need to get a handle on all the muliple personality disorder profiles and have them all banned.

I thought these people with multiple accounts had been gotten rid of? I haven't noticed as many trolls but maybe I'm in the wrong place

I am sickened by some of the comments in the EE EP thread tonight. If this is what people think of mental health issues, I hate to live in this country. I think some of these people need a reality check and 2017 could be their "zero point" year. Instead of belittling people for their problems, be there and support them.

I know I am too, that poster Aaron being told he is being patronising when he isnt

It is disgusting

Ther are a few posters on. The forum who have openly spoken about their depression and issues at one time or another, I have massive rspect for them to do so then they have to read comments like that.

And those that still struggle and take things personally will be very upset about some of the stuff being said

EE was on fire tonight, especially Lee/Danny. Really excellent job to the writers and actors. I'm so excited to see what 2017 brings.

Anyone who could watch Lee tonight and not feel gutted for him must have a heart of stone

I have a heart of stone and my heart still broke for him.

All the way through the storyline Danny has portrayed the depression so well.

Some of the comments in the ep thread were just nasty

I am also excited for 2017

Did you cry cement and finally melt?

I'm not often affected by a soap storyline but I don't mind admitting tonight that Lee/Danny have left a big impression. Lee's monologues

Some people are just so cruel. The ignorance that still surrounds mental illness is shocking to me.

No but I am crying again now, just gone on facebook to an odd status by a friend and loads of messages. One of my friends husbands has died, absolutely lovely fella, I am a bit shocked

Gonna go walk the dog and go to bed. Thank god 2016 is nearly over

But yeah, the ignorance is astounding, people are watching but don't seem to learn or take anything from what they see

Oh no, Lea. I'm sorry, what an awful shock I'm here to chat if you want at any time.

I know, right? What a rotten year it's been. Looking forward to a better one in 2017.

There's being ignorant without meaning it, then there's just plain wilful ignorance, I guess

Somehow I am still up, I hate xmas and the lack of routine it brings, I need my beauty sleep.

I think pretty much everyone has had a really terrible year.

There is a third option, the ones who know yet still post comments to bait or think they are funny

I get what you mean. The two Xmas/NY weeks do seem to drag on forever.

Seems like it, the bad news/deaths this year seem to have been non-stop

It's truly pathetic, some people need to get a life.

Whilst I agree and I am one of those who suffer severe depression, we also need to remember that humour is allowed on the forum although sometimes I do wonder because people are getting very good at shutting people down over what I would consider a humorous remark. I know it's a fine line but I'll take humour over my situation over anything else.

Thanks (a lot) and I'm still NOT J-B

Hope you are feeling better Aaron.

Not seen yesterday's EE yet (watching later) but just going over to read the forum.

Oh and Lea I am very sorry for your bad news - it just never bloody ends does it?

Thank God 2016 will soon be history.

Hi Keyser,

I will PM you when I get my computer back in a couple of weeks I am on my tablet which I find difficult with my illnesses the keyboard and stuff just too small and I'm not used to it and often I am working off of memory of how to do stuff. I probably am making no sense, as I am getting progressively worse I await news from doctors.

I call it being stuck in "constant judgement mode" people who just see, and judge, see, and judge rather than ever being open minded, thoughtful, observant, perceptive or intuitive.

I wish you all the very best and really hope that you get the good news you deserve.

Goodnight.

I don't see whats funny about saying jump though? Or some of the other comments. Danny boy has had a lot of tweets on twitter saying man up etc but its not that simple.

Yes, sometimes people with depression have to get to the point where they help themselves but it comes from within and no amount of being told to man up will do that, make it worse if anything.

I never said humour isn't allowed on the forum but I have seen lots of posters getting upset by things said on the forum, many of which have a delicate state of mind.

Trying to reassure and encourage someone to see the good within and the positives is far better than laughing about them having depression and potentially making them worse

I agree that man up comments are horrible and I'm not defending idiots, but some comments by the more respected posters although not always in my taste are I think just trying to be funny that's all I meant. I was not trying to denigrate your point at all.
