20k and no bugger noticed!

Anonymous ***** still being offended on your behalf elsewhere.

The new year begins as the last one ended.

Although this time I will not be biting Lea.
Congrats on the 20k!

Good keep it up, just ignore and they will get bored and look elsewhere to annoy. Gonna go look

EE - AMAZING!!! So harrowing and so sad, though I wish they did it a different angle re: their exits. Sadly won't win the night as Corrie fans will watch anything (and before anyone has a go at me, I do like Corrie) - could be 30 mins of Ken reading the paper, or Eva with a rampant rabbit.

EE was amazing. Loved how stylish it was with all this different shots.

Corrie was contrived nonsense as usual.

Why does Corrie do well? EE has had bad patches and lost viewers, yet CS still comes up roses? I know the people in this country are a bit daft, but come on!

Happy New Year to you all

EE was sad but brilliant tonight. I loved how it was filmed/shot. Did anyone think Ronnie and Roxy's scene on the dancefloor was meant to be a homage to their introduction trailer?

I agree with all of the above. EE was AMAZING, harrowing, dark, gothic. baroque and SOC has delivered and definitely proved his worth. Tonight's episode has shown what a soap should be like and EE have provided two big characters with original(?) soap deaths that were very hard to watch. The nods to the past were a lovely touch and it was nice to see the wedding reception not take place in the Vic, the characters taking selfies also adds to the realism. Ronnie screaming was the most harrowing bit I think, watching her dress wrap around her as she desperately fought to get back to the surface.

Also, one thing I noticed. Roxy said "All I ever do is drag you down" and that is exactly what she did.

I reckon that as well - It was a nod to when they arrived as two fun loving girls who spent time in Ibiza. It was just wonderful - this is EE and I hope all those who hate SOC realise that the show is moving on and back to it's roots. If they want OTT with pretty boys watch Hollyoaks.

It was subtle but noticeable - a nice touch.

True. I will miss R&R but some characters do just have a shelf life and I think they'd come to a natural end.

Hi folks.

Lea made it a very happy ending to the year I can tell you!

EE was wonderful and DBH is still playing an absolute blinder.

His depression story really strikes a chord with anyone who has been through the same thing.

Don't watch Corrie (or any other soap or reality/celebrity show for that matter) Lea.

I thought it was a crock of shite.

Contrived storylines such as Phelan finding Jack, and that Mary nonsense got right on my wick, what has the whole storyline been for if it ends with Jude going to SA on his own? Corrie is amateur compared to EE at the moment, in my opinion. Too much going on, too fast paced, and not enough thought going into it.

Well EE pulled out all the stops tonight, a really good ep imo, especially Ronnie and Roxy drowning in the pool, that was really eerie and haunting and that last scene then a black screen and no music was really chilling. I liked the Mick and Lee scenes too.

I agree about Ronnie screaming and her dress wrapping around her and pulling her under. That scream was a most eerie sound and then her locket fell and the soft clinking sound it made as it hit the bottom of the pool added a very haunting feel.

Don't you mean Gid moaning?

I recorded one of those Pop Quizzes I think it was Wednesday but I've not watched it yet. I've got Lip synch battle with Shane and Jessie to watch and all.

The locket scene was indeed very haunting, the whole scene had gothic written all over it and it was brilliant. Also, when the camera panned upwards the show them dead in the pool was great and something that seems to be quite new to the show as well.

I though it was very well done and even though it was expected it was still quite shocking and tragic.

I think the pool had a very haunting atmosphere too, that clock above it ticking towards midnight like it was counting down their time on earth.

That last scene was like a horror film and I momentarily forgot that I had just watched EE and not a gothic horror film.
