Stella Week was a one off I think, a real phenomenon
Absolutely. There were some classic posts made in there and it went on for pages and pages like this one.

That's what I think too. I'd sent my nominations before this thread had even started

Corrie was boring with the same roundabout concerning the Bistro. Always the same scenarios, just in case we don't get Robert is 'crap' at running a business.

The stuff at the Grimshaw household was laughable, with the saving grace of Todd and Phelan. But even characters being blind to Phelan's obvious shit stirring is getting really boring.

I hope they start making progress as it just seems to be going in a loop.

I didn't even bother with Corrie and didn't watch Wednesdays either, just watched Emmerdale tonight.

I don't watch Emmerdale, but you didn't miss out much with Corrie. The Platt stuff is fine though.

I didn't watch any soaps tonight, does that disqualify me from tonight's chat?

Corrie- Negative review i'm afraid. There has been progress recently but I didnt enjoy it tonight or this week on a whole compared to last week and the week before that. I felt the stuff with Sean was completely overblown and frustrating to watch but the idea of Todd going against Phelan could be interesting. I'm sick of watching Robert be rude and aggressive to his staff and customers as well and I wish the Bistro plot would end now! Best bit was Luke and David playing darts frankly.

EastEnders- More positive review from me, i'm enjoying them setting Aunt Babe get what she deserves and I liked the scenes with the Carters and Pam and Claudette. I liked Grant having a go at that bloke in the pub as well and the stuff with Ben returning was alright. I'm hoping for a good Claudette V Babe confronation next week.

Not at all KK, as you know we start with the soaps and then get further and further off topic as the night goes on

Only if you are unwilling to thoroughly examine the argument for mandatory shirtless-ness for all f*ckable soap characters?

I'd rather get involved in the argument for mandatory nudity for all ****able soap characters?

Corrie was dire. Sean appeared to be doing his best Deirdre Barlow impression. Now we know why he never gets storylines.

What better topic is there!

It seemed a big step backwards considering recent quality. I didnt care about any of the Sean/Todd/Billy stuff because it felt like the issues were being entirely invented by Sean. Some of it was truly cringeworthy.

I can't wait 3 and a half hours until the watershed. Damn, I should've suggested it be 1pm instead

None whatsoever

Agree on Corrie, after the improvements made with Kylie's death etc, tonight was just back to the same old boring filler. And Sean's "ultimatum" to Eileen was pathetic, as if she'd choose that clown over her own son.
