her attempt at a northern accent was terrible
She was still such a good character though

The Queen of Beige always knew how to make people feel better in her back room
Whereas Liz has completely destroyed it

I saw this earlier: https://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=e...MTBjlFeIOFM%3A and don't know why but instantly thought of Liz Mac

Hi I am currently enjoying it. Now its Braxton light it's better. The Morgans Seem ok, and there are plots For Irene and Alf too. I think it's picked up a bit.
I'll give it a go then. The only Braxton I really liked was Heath, so it's a shame there's not really any reason for him to permanently return, although I intended to tune in when he returned for his guest stint.

Agreed, It just wasn't the same, and they made a few bad decisions too, like killing of the legends Tom & Grantly imo.

Quality was patchy from season 5 on imo but I continued to the bitter end

YES, I loved it until Michael Byrne came in about halfway through Series 7, then I lost interest until they moved to Greenock and started Series 8, and it was never really the same after that

So many memories of it though, most of my friends watched it too so it was always something we talked about.

Well I was in hospital for about seven weeks, I'm not sure exactly how long but I had a lot of time to kill

I was so annoyed that Season 10 ended without Jonnie (Justin/Bonnie) properly getting together, I absolutely loved them!

For me Series 3 - 5 were the best, It was still good from there on, but It got increasingly sensationalist and repetitive at times.

The best bits in latter seasons was Laurie Brett particularly in drunk mode, really good actress

I actually wasn't as much as a fan of the earlier era (Season 1 - 5). Season 6 was the first series I actually watched religiously every week (live, as opposed to YouTube), and I really enjoyed it from then and right until the end.

Thinking back, it's weird to think there was only two series' after it moved to Scotland, it feels like a lot more!

I though all of the years with Jack Rimmer and Rachel Mason were great, the problems for me started around the time Michael came into it I think.

I agree she was good at playing drunk I decided I would give it a chance after the school changed but I find that I didn't like a lot of the new characters and some of the plots had become quite repetitive

I loved Stella too! Some people hate it but for me late 2012 early 2013 Corrie was great, you had the massive Karl/Sunita/Stella/Jason storyline and then the Rovers fire, and also Kirsty's abuse of Tyrone. Much better than what they have now.
