I agree it's far from clear cut, but scared of what? Granted, she's a bit of a bunny boiler but I can't believe he seriously feels physically threatened by her or fears for his life.

I don't think she has anything on him that she hasn't probably already said (but it's a possibility). I also don't think he fears looking bad as most would understand his reasons if he chose to never have anything to do with her again.

His reaction really doesn't make any sense to me unless he does still have feelings for her and wants to continue the relationship.

It wouldn't totally surprise me if you were right Patsy, but I would like to think you weren't - that's the best way I can put it It's a thought that's occurred to me several times over the last weeks, that there's still some connection between them that he just cannot shake off.

If he does, indeed, have somebody new on the outside then I hope he continues along that path rather than Charlie getting her clutches into him - but if she does, he will be allowing it as he's a grown man. If they do give it another round, then more fool him.

We will, however, have to wait and see. Hope for the best, expect the worst
