Well...that was not to bad....
I have in previous years had mostly negitive things to say about C5's version of Big Brother, i had even stopped posting and reading on these forums.....But i have to say this series was not tOo bad at all.
The casting had been much better than prevoius years (could still improve), the "scripting" had been less obvious and the "poor acting" was not so in your face as before. Also i think Andy, Jason and Jayne (V2) had helped stop BB going full "only way is" style due to their "normal-nes". Hopfully C5 can make further improvments (borrow some stuff of BBUS) but at least they have dealt with some of what was lacking. (Also, Well done Jason for breaking up the game by voting out lateysha, may have made it a bit more intresting at that point (even if the producers pushed him to that direction ) )

I have hated it. Series shortened, outside info on multiple occasions, contact with people on the outside, manipulation again and again and again, unbelievably bad tasks ( gunge, eating gross food, Tweets read back to the HM's, HM conversations played back to the house to cause arguments ), next to no live feed ( again ) and constant stirring to cause arguments.
It's been yet another draining series. |

I thought this bunch of housemates were pretty fantastic, I'd even go as far as saying one of the best we've ever had. So many strong characters and very few bores.
Problem is, the housemates had to deal with messy and bad decisions from the producers. The Others house for example was a complete disaster from the start, yet in theory it could have worked. The rushed evictions and the series being so short didn't make it any better as well. |

Casting wasn't too bad.
BB interference, really bad. Tasks pitiful. 5 of the final 6 were decent potential winners. As the OP said the more 'normal' ones rose to the top and should send a message out to BB. Would have preferred Evelyn or Jayne to have placed higher. I think that the tone of this series felt better than most CH5 series. Less hate I suppose. No one was really seen as the villain, on here at least. Still too much bias though, Jason needed to win, but for me he was a good winner in his own right. Hughie would have been a good winner too. Lots of good things about the series. I can't deny that I did enjoy it for the most part. Probably in my top 2 favourite civilian series of the CH5 era, if not the best. My favourite thing about this series? A winner with CHARACTER, who won against the privileged and self-entitled crybabies. |

I was nearly going to shut off for good after the second night of "the boyfriends" from outside nonsense, since it seemed they were going to keep flogging a dating show. But it got better after that.
Jason pretty much saved the series when he threw Lateysha out. I wouldn't have guessed that would clear a path to his winning, but overcoming Hughie and Jackson in the final 3 was definitely an entertaining result. |

For me:
Casting- Very Good Final Lineup- One of the best ever, no coasters. Best Final 2 for me EVER. Tasks- Awful Production- A shambles Annihilation- Surprisingly fantastic (but that was down to the cast, NOT producers really). Content/Storylines- Decent Showmances- Hate them as always but loved the fact that the voters didn't make couples last. Eviction Order- Spot on. So basically, i think the Cast was GOLD. But the actual production and tasks were terrible. |

I personally thought the producers shot themselves in the foot by 'rushing' toward the end. They mucked up big time, but despite their ineptitude, it still ended up being a really good series, with a very deserving winner!
