Either way, it doesn't erase the fact that Hughie was humble. Can you imagine Lateysha or Ryan losing out to him in the same way? They'd be disgusted. Hughie looked like the happiest runner up there has ever been.

Lateysha and Ryan don't have the brains to realise that being humble is good PR, they don't have the brains for anything it would seem

I have to wonder about Lateysha and Ryan's parents. We've spoken a lot about Hughie's background, but what kind of people raise children like Lateysha and Ryan?

I'd imagine Ryan had a childhood much like the character 'spoilt bastard' from Viz

I bet even now his mum asks him if she should cut his bread into soldiers and calls him 'little poppet'

I was actually shocked by his interview. He was really humble. Expected him to go off on a tirade about Jason. Seems to be a good lad just easily led.

I can imagine that. Wonder what kind of father figure he had?

Ryan could be very possibly be Rab C Nesbits younger son, the moronic wee redhead.

That was genuine last night - it would take someone with a lot more guile to be that calculated.

I would guess that Hughie has something of a suspicious nature...I know a lot of Travellers have. That would explain (not excuse) some of his rants which are best described as paranoid.

I will keep harping back though to the fact that his housemates became fond of him. Natalie aside. I would guess, too, that there was a lot we didn't see.

He showed a lot of caring moments and I'm positive there's a lot more to him than a hot temper.

Sadly he has ruined it with his reaction in interviews - looks like the bedroom bitches have got in his ear......

I am just waiting for the insults to the voters next. I think Hughie shows his naievity - Ryan and Alex never would have won. Laty was fave with the bookies for a short period - didn't mean she would win. A lot of viewers didn't like her. It was Hughie's to lose......

Well, I predicted that. He was easily influenced.

Silly boy. He definitely needs guidance. Assuming that's verbatim.

And not from the orange twerp.

I'm sort of taking back what I said back now that it has come to light that he thought himself, or several of the others were 'more worthy winners' than Jason. Er no Mate. The public decides who wins, and they wanted Jason so there we are!

He said exactly on BOTS.

He was hanging with Jason in the Afterparty. He just said he THOUGHT there were other winners that may have been more deserving, he never said he was unhappy for Jason.

Just an observation as I watched the final night again earlier today, but Dad pointed out that Hughie was shaking with nerves when it came down to the last two. And he seems to be relived that he came runner up and didn't have the weight of the win on his shoulders, which goes to explain why he acted like it was an immense relief and weight off his shoulders when he left the house..

PLUS, by not having the win on his young shoulders he didn't have to worry about a money hungry mill stone being attached to it i.e. Ryan.

The fact he has said things a little different later on, shows that he's been got at by the sour losers of the bed bitches.
