She's a lovely person and can host okay, not great but her interviewing skills are shit.

Most of the criticism Emma gets is that she tows the company line during her interviews. But no other presenter would be any different, unless they went dramatically 'off script' - and if they did that they'd just be replaced.

Iain Lee used to do it a bit during his stints on BOTS didn't he? They soon stopped that.

I think she's all right. I wish they would be harder on the HMs about some things but I don't know how much of that is beyond her control.

I miss Iain Lee too. I like to see some opinions expressed on HMs that come from someone who watches the show and doesn't annoy me (which rules out most of the BBBOTs panel and audience).

I put her as poor because her interviews this series in particular were very boring. She let too many of them off with easy interviews. Put Rylan as very poor though

I think Rylan is better at interviews than she is so make of that what you will.

Prime example of Emma at her finest was the interview with Jackson where she asked and answered the questions for him AND gave explanations why it was normal and OK for him to be the way he was and not fake at all. All Jackson had to do was nod yes.

No, she's a poor host. She never brings up anything interesting, just the boring showmances that even the HMs are fed up with. Time for a change.

To me she is ok but you can always tell who she prefers to win and who she wants out , and that is not good as she is harder on some than others .

I've always liked Emma but I have to say I didn't like the way she told Hughie that he and Jackson were her favourites and that she wanted them to win when she was at the BOTS show.....I know that she's entitled to her opinion but I also think she should be more neutral in her roll as presenter.....

More suited to bbbots than the main show, she doesn't have really the ability to bring in the ratings and yet the dicks at c5 towers think she's wonderful.

Good host... announcing stuff, getting the crowd into it, etc.

Terrible Interviewer....biased, boring, surface questions, focus on uninteresting parts of HG...

She's a poor host, and an even worse interviewer. Her bias shines through everything she says and she doesn't even attempt to grill people. She's too nicey nice. Get rid.

She has a very screechy voice, which really grates !!! Her hosting and interviewing skills are nothing special, extremely mediocre. So no I don't think she is a good host.
But she is beautiful !!!!

More suited to 'The Voice' , shows that do not require any in depth interviews - IMO.
She loves the Showmances, always a sucker for the Hughie and Jackson type, and very seldom has much time for the older, more sedate or deep thinking HM.
Her worst trait in BB, which would not be apparent in a show like The Voice, is her ever so obvious bias toward certain individuals.
A presenter should be like an Umpire -- completely neutral and impartial.
Emma is not.

No she is hopeless at in depth interviewing and she is of course always biased.

I think she is excellent presenter, much better than any of her predecessors. I agree that sometimes not brilliant with interviews, but equally some people are really difficult to interview.

I would prefer if presenters would not have clear favourites. That applies to Rylan and Emma alike.

No, most of all I look forward to the post-eviction interviews but Emma just seems to want to turn them into a friendly chat. She does like a softer target it seems, was quite ruthless with Laura recently, but let Georgina off the hook when there were so many questions she should have been asking, and just came over as plain scared with Natalie.

A lot of how Emma is is completely producer driven, the modern day people in charge are more suited to TOWIE than bb and cbb.

She was the perfect presenter of BOTS.

She's a dreadful host of the main show.

Yep, spineless and clueless how to deal with it all imo, apart from attack the weak targets and those not already her mates/friends with production. I guesstimate last night's (short) interviews were 65%+ her telling the HMs/us what we should be thinking.

Emma's biggest problem is that she cannot 'think on her feet' which is why she is so truely awful doing live eviciton interviews.

She has her script (things she has been told to say) but as soon as the crowd get involved or the evicted housemate goes off topic, which they do a lot, she has no way of recovering the interview or to change tack and go with it.

She would be better at a 100% scripted show in my opinion, also that way she won't get so caught up in the excitement and then she can keep that horrendous screechy voice to normal levels (i.e where it doesn't make your ears bleed).
