So now it's all over, I realised, watching the show that I probably wanted Jackson to win.
For me, he was the better winner.
I had always supported Andy and Jason, Andy because he was the most rational and considered and Jason because he was trying to do the best in a bad situation.
As time went on though I grew tired of Jason and how was always trying to do the right thing because it didn't always ring true. It was such an effort for him to play the knight and that took it's toll eventually as the mask cracked.
Andy was my favourite but there were a few times he flipped situations (cleverly) and that's probably why the HMs thought he was a snake.
But as for a deserving winner I think Jacko could have been the one if he hadn't played the game so hard, constantly talking about wanting to be accepted and everything else. I get the impression, under it all, he's a nice lad but there's this whole other 'layer' that people felt it necessary to add.
It's like the xfactor auditions, everyone's got a sob story, this is a singing contest so they should be judged on their ability to sing.
I didn't really get the feeling any of them were genuine, Jason is probably quite a dark man who doesn't always do the right thing. Hughie and Ryan tried the hardest and it was cringeworthy at times, especially Ryan.
I just wish people could have been more genuine, it would have been a better show for it.
