I have six weeks off from work and have decided the most productive thing I can do with my time is watch BB6 again.
I am sitting crying real tears of laughter over Craig's 'I refuse to diminish my character to survive' speech, I don't remember it being so funny! Also already looking forward to the task with Maxwell working away and everyone else in the garden. I wasn't on DS at the time so would enjoy hearing anyone's opinions on the housemates or the series itself.

Can I ask how you are watching it? I'm off for a bit aswell so I wouldn't mind watching a few of my favourtie episodes too !

IMO BB6 was just as entertaining as BB5 (which I know is often slated as the best series of BB). I loved Kemal's divarish behaviour and remember being genuinely horrified at Vanessa's eviction. That type of brutality was quite rare back then wasn't it!

I watched it again not so long ago on youtube, it should still be there.

I think you can see them on YouTube. I wouldn't mind watching that series back either.
I also think it was the year when they first introduced punishments that involved everyone sitting round the TV watching others bitch about them. Like when Saskia and Maxwell watched Derek calling them the 'silent assassins'.

Craig Coates was my favourite. He loved ''Anferny'' so much.

They were allowed to drink much more back then too and made use of the empty bottles too

Can't imagine that series airing in the safety first political correctness era we live in

It had serious racial undertones that year and would be pulled off air nowadays

The saskia v makosi argument is a big moment in it , it was when I joined digital spy as well

Youtube has quite a few of the older ones on. If you search for the specific series and add UK on the end you should come up with the full playlists.

In the day when housemates were normal and did enjoy themselves Davina was good and a much better atmosphere its like a breath of fresh air.
Now its a struggle to watch it the way its been ripped apart.

Normal being the operative word, and thats what I miss the most.

This thread made me want to watch the first series again, so I looked it up and it's weird seeing how different it was back than https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hLHfRR66quI

Thats when it was a true and raw experiment. I suppose it had to evolve somewhat but
its turned into a farce, one that I have trouble refraining from watching though.

That's the main reason why I watched it in the first place. Although I understand why it had to evolve I still miss those days. I still enjoy watching BB every now and again, but not as much as I did before.

I've only watched the last 2 civilian BB's since it moved the C5, I completely lost interest after C4 binned it. Its so far removed from what it originally was that its hard to see it as Big Brother anymore. Its just a house with cameras, full of attention seeking wannabees, but I still get some kind of kick out of watching it. Can't decide whether I'm glad I started watching it again or whether I need certifying. Hey ho!

I could probably live with the attention seekers. But I dislike how much outside info they get, outsiders coming inside the house, diary room no longer a safe place to view your thoughts, BB playing back to many convos to cause conflict etc. It just spoils it a bit for me.

This is only the 2nd civilian BB I've watched since it moved to channel 5.

I agree with all of that, especially the outside contact and playing back of diary room conversations. The producers are getting it very wrong, and have nobody but themselves to blame when they sit around their conference table asking why the viewing figures have dropped as much as they have.

I have watched a lot of the old series' and really enjoyed them. But I really want to watch the Julie Goodyear series and Jim Davidson series and can't find the whole series only random episodes.

If anyone can give me a link to the whole series I would be very grateful
