Ok fair enough, you post fairly around this place so i'll take your word for it. I didn't read the shit.

I shouldn't trust thread titles to be correct regarding this kind of thing. Although the OP was only using what the paper has as a title! Crappy papers.

I still generally stick by what I said in my other posts though. Overall, I like Hughie he has good potential imo. Just needs to keep away from Ryan and one or two others is my view.

I did not add the quotation marks, they were part of the article and I am not easily manipulated by the media”

Oh haha

God damn I might have to read the crap myself. Haha.

I couldn't agree more about Ryan and one or two others. As for the press they seem to know they can print any old yarn in their headline and even if the contents of the article completely contradict the headline there will be plenty of people who go away with the impression that the headline is the story.

Trivial when it comes to BB, but I wonder how often they manipulate serious things like referendums in the same way.

So are Latysha, Hughie, Ryan Jackson and Laura the gang who are referred to as the bedroom bitches on DS forums?

Yeah there was a post on the Hughie humility thread regarding him shaking during the Final 2 announcement and being really nervous, and then a look of relief when he did NOT win, which is strange. I watched it back though, but it did seem that way.

The poster said that he thinks that winning would have been too much pressure on his community and especially with the fact he would have to share money with Ryan and that's why he was so happy during the exit and interview.

poster than says that the change of heart would be because Ryan and Lateysha where saying how hated Jason is on the outside (only among their fans!), leading him to believe others deserved it more.

I mean technically he didn't say Jason DIDN'T deserve it, but that he would have preferred someone else. But yepp... listing Ryan and Alex as deserving is probably the biggest load of bollocks ever.

Another poster now says 'worthy' is mentioned. Oh well either way. Might have to read the rubbish myself after all, or just not bother.

Generally yes, definitely agreed on the Ryan an co stuff.

No the OP did not misuse quotation marks or mislead. The thread title was the EXACT TITLE used by Digital Spy, with the quotations used correctly as presented in the article

What did Hughie mean in his exit interview about Jason bring the dark tunnel on himself (or wtte)? Other than that bit, his exit interview was very well done imo.

Well with articles, different posters who have read the whole damn thing, still are seeing different things now.

Oh well I definitely can't be naffed to read it all now.

I've just read it again to double check, and nowhere does Hughie say that "Lateysha or I would have been more worthy winners than Jason". That's the headline, its not backed up by contents of the article.

Are you just assuming that Hughie must have said it because they've used quotes in the headline? Because if so, yes you are easily manipulated by the media. And I never accused you of adding the quotation marks.

Thank goodness the self entitled Hughie didn't win.

Folk say that Jason did nothing, but what did the others do that will be remembered for years to come?

The fact is, Jason did the most memorable thing during the whole series & was tested like no other.

All Hughie did was indulge in felatio and/or mutual masturbation with another self obsessed wannabe & he had a fairly easy ride throughout.

Jason more than deserves his win, especially when comparing him to Hughie or Lateysha.

I agree with him, IMo jason won thanks to the sympathy vote and the fact the older women fancied him. He was not in the least entertaining and took firstly 20 grand despite being wealthy which shows greed and actually looked to leave at least four times. usually these type of Hm's are evicted to boos from exasperated fans.
The guy was a monosyllabic moaner with a face like a slapped arss. How on earth did he deserve to win. Shows how easily people get carried away with pointless pity and get fooled blind. They know what to expect when they go in there. He should have left with his 20 grand in his sweaty palm and nothing else. How quick he was, despite his money to grab it from others.I could not stand him,a complete fake gameplayer. Hughie was a silly moo and way too hot tempered but at least he was real. He has a right to his opinion and to speak it out honestly. I had no faves this year but really Jason as the winner, a joke. His mumbling exit interview said it all. Hms should not win to annoy other Hm's, or out of pity thats just silly. They should win because they have entertained us and borne the experience stoically not looking to leave every week.

Please stop. The title uses the quotation marks. The sentence is clearly dialog and is punctuated as such.

'Lateysha or I would have been a more worthy winner than Jason' this is clearly a statement made by Hughie, in line with many other statements in the article.

Hughie was also quoted in the article saying " but I just think there's others like Alex, Ryan, Jackson, Lateysha." Hughie added: "I would have considered someone like myself, Ryan or Lateysha.

Notice where Hughie says he would have considered HIMSELF?

People said he was relieved not to win? Seriously?!?!? WTF! He was shaking as that was part of his game, he thought he was going to win. My goodness, this is so obvious.

That bit made me laugh in the sense Hughie said he thought Jason was going to have a heart attack! Well.. Hughie was the heavy breather.

Yeah, Hughie was so REAL and Jason was just greedy. What a load of cobblers. Btw, I do not fancy Jason nor am I an older woman but he'd definitely earned his place in the final.

i would imagine it was a very stressful experience for both of the men. Are they not allowed normal human reactions and feelings. Of course Hughie was nervous and shaking, winning 70 grand is a big thing for someone living in his living conditions and could change his life and that of his family for the better.
I am sure Jason was nervous too its only normal.

Once Jackson went Hughie definitely thought he had it.

-----------------

Not keen on the attitude of "I would have considered someone like myself, Ryan or Lateysha. Jason doesn't seem like a Big Brother winner"

so only a certain type like these 3 should win and they are a similar 3 to a certain degree.

I know . Talk about stretching credibility .
Jason was shaking too , in fact most of them were .
I'm not fussed on Hughie but I didn't think he's be so nasty . Might be the company he is keeping . Bitterness is such an ugly trait in a young healthy person .
