Very few BB housemates are invited to CBB
You mean many so called celebs are invited onto the BOTS panel during CBB.
But very rare any 'civilian' ex BB housemates are invited onto the BOTS panel, when CBB is on.
Well, personally I would like to see more of that.

No I meant that very few BB housemates / contestants have been CBB housemates.

I don't get why you think they would/should be though. They were already on the show; otherwise they could just fill up every slot with ex HMs.

If they turned around and put them in a celebrity version it would sort of defeat the object

Oh, then that I can see why it doesn't happen. Civvy BB housemates hardly ever become famous enough for CBB.
Although that's a joke in it's self. CBB rarely has 'celebs' on anyway.

Two particular contestants on the Apprentice were spectacular failures on the show but were invited to go on CBB.
Both did very well - and in fact one won.

I guess they just don't want any civvy BB housemates to ever cross that barrier. Even if by some miracle a BB housemates reached say C list level.

Because they think we don't want to see the same person twice I guess. Although very rarely it's been done.
And of course you had ultimate BB.
The obvious reason for inviting people from other RTV (non celeb versions) shows and not BB itself is to get people from those other shows hooked on BB, no need to do that with BB fans. Also it would be ridiculous to have regular hms then be CBB hms they are different shows, having the same hms would be pointless - the one notable exception as mentioned above, Jade notwithstanding, who was a very unique and special not to mention disastrous case!
It would be a bit incestuous wouldn't it? Regular BB could just be a cheap way for them to 'breed' their own celebrities to put in CBB at a knock off price!

But Ex on the Beach cast members are? Their standards are so low they might as well pop former housemates back in as celebs.
I think this thread highlights how mind bogglingly crazy it is that the prank monkeys from TOWIE, Geordie Shore etc are now seen by some as "celebrities".
