The obvious reason for inviting people from other RTV (non celeb versions) shows and not BB itself is to get people from those other shows hooked on BB, no need to do that with BB fans. Also it would be ridiculous to have regular hms then be CBB hms they are different shows, having the same hms would be pointless - the one notable exception as mentioned above, Jade notwithstanding, who was a very unique and special not to mention disastrous case!
It would be a bit incestuous wouldn't it? Regular BB could just be a cheap way for them to 'breed' their own celebrities to put in CBB at a knock off price!

I think this thread highlights how mind bogglingly crazy it is that the prank monkeys from TOWIE, Geordie Shore etc are now seen by some as "celebrities".

That was the point of my thread - so why exclude (most ) BB ex-housemates ?
This is a good reason to have another ultimate BB season or an all stars series. Although it hasn't gone very well for some hm's going in again like Jade in CBB or Nadia in UBB.
