Will Jason's choices change the way BB is played?

Next time, I think we'll see a few hms trying to emulate his strategic style and it might evolve from a popularity contest into something more along the lines of BBUS. That might spell the end of the stage school personalities sceaming and swearing all over the house.

hopefully, unless it's one of my favourites that's in danger

Jason only voted to evict the people he least got on with - just like they all do and always have done. Nothing's changed.

I don't think most of the HM are clever enough to grasp this strategy. Therefore I predict no change in future HM's attitudes.

I hope so. I want more strategy and nominating of popular HMs. The last few years they just seem to want to have a party in there in their new bezzie mates and forget about the prize money. I want the HMs to claw their way to the final.

As usual, I think people are making far too much of the capacity of any HM to play strategically in our BB. Taking Jason for example, if the vote after he got rid of Lateysha had been to evict - which is normal for civilian BB - he could easily have been in the bottom 3 and voted out by the HMs.

Any tactical approach can be thwarted or supported by BB changing the rules.

People completely forget it but Victor talked open strategic a long while back and there's been things occasionally since like that.

Jason although accused of being a huge gameplayer was arguably no more so than most others in the house. His actions just happened to coincide with what most of the public wanted, hence his win.

I would like a more open and honest approach than is normally allowed on the show, though I don't think most want direct nominations talk every program. And really it's not that necessary, you just talk about who you don't like as people always have.

The main thing is this silly making 'gameplay' a dirty word, it's pointless. But BB have strongly encouraged that over the years, as if the show is about hoodwinking the public into thinking you aren't playing a game. DR honesty should be encouraged by BB rather than how it has been in the past.

The American one is also manipulated but that doesn't stop some telling the audience in the DR what their hopes are. Also the US one has HGs who can't be arsed playing the game too.

This series of BB-US is the first I've ever watched. It's not quite my bag, but I'm sticking with it. But from what I've seen of it, the 'game-playing rules' as laid out by the show is what makes it what it is. If a UK contestant attempted to play that way it wouldn't work unless the show itself encouraged it with 'head of house' type shenanigans and players evicting players. In the case of the latter of course, that's how Jason got rid of Lateysha. But that was a one off.

But as I said the rules can be changed at times in the US one as well. They try and mix it up so people don't have so much control, not that they've made a very good job of it this year of course.

They are all disingenuous when they say they're not game players.

Another oft repeated saying which irks me is the phrase 'if I've got a problem with you; I say it to your face.' Society doesn't work like that. People discuss others behind their backs all the time.

I still don't see a massive game plan, I didn't really even like Jason until the last couple of weeks

BB is a lot of luck, stay out of the bitching circle, stay out of anything that causes too much offence and just be yourself more than not

Andy may have won if he had just relaxed a little bit, I think he kept trying to challenge people too much instead of just accepting some people are just morons

I'd love them to try the US format, but they'd have to get different sorts of people on it for it to work. Also I think our culture of moaning might not like it much and it may not translate too well, I think it's somewhat "easier" to accept your favourite being voted out by the public compared to being voted out by the house, and it would probably cause fan favourites to get voted earlier.
