Maybe he craves more of the limelight, who knows???”

If memory serves, I think he is actually a fan of the show.

I really hope he does go in. He's very opinionated without being ignorant and won't tolerate any nonsense.

I can see him either winning tor walking after a few days.

Pretty sure he used to tweet about it ... probably doesn't see it now he's on early mornings.

Mrs W seems to be enjoying herself on his twitter account today.

Me too.

It was a pleasant surprise for me when I saw he was going in.

Just logged on and seen this. Good, always liked James Whale. Controversial sort of chap, but generally talks more sense than a lot of "shock jocks" who try to trample people with their point of view.

He was great on LBC before he got sacked; he wound so many people up will be the same in the house and on here.

I can't believe that he'd even consider BB though; maybe he needs the cash.

If -James Whale went neck to neck with Kay Burley and Adam Boulton on this show, it might actually make me tune in to watch these useless media presenters dumb each other even dumber than as dumb as they are... sadly, I'm off to Spain.

I remember The James Whale Radio Show...ironically on TV, in the late 80s/early 90s...fantastic show for it's time, but watch it back now on YouTube and it looks very shambolic...but still fun.

Used to love his radio show, been years since I heard/saw him though - last I heard was he successfully fought cancer a few years ago.

Should be a great HM if he's still got that spark Looking forward to seeing him again.

Did it not look shambolic even back then? That was its appeal, right?

Yes very true lol, but it still knocks spots off modern much better produced shows.
