Nope. She had all the evidence in her room at the B&B, she wasn't planning at all on putting it in Andy's car. She did that in the heat of the moment when he lied to her about being on the phone to Bernice, she then grabbed all the evidence and shoved it in his boot.

I thought it was hilarious though and I'm cheering her on.

Come on, I get Andy was wrong but he doesn't deserve this. She could have confronted him with the truth when he lied, called him everything but a child of God and moved on. That is what most people would do. But Chrissie is a vengeful woman.

Andy tried to kill Pete who had done absolutely nothing to him.

I love a woman out for revenge so this story is right up my street. Andy's one of those characters I could take or leave so whether he's in the show or not is of little consequence to me.

I feel really sorry for Lachlan at the moment. For the last 16 years the man who has been his grandfather has turned on him for no good reason - he is totally innocent in this situation. It's not his fault that Chrissie is his mother and Lawrence really shouldn't be treating him like this.

Well killing Pete was part of that ridiculous murder plot with Ross. Not that it justifies Andy's actions.

I at times I like a vengeful woman but there is something about Chrissie that I find unsympathetic. I was really turned off of her when she started search for her birth dad and questioned if she was still in Lawrence's will.

BIB: That's when I stopped liking her too - she's acting like a spoilt princess who always has to have what she wants. And much as I dislike Andy I thought she was totally wrong in setting him up for shooting Lawrence.

Exactly. Andy might have done a lot of bad stuff be he's done nothing worthy of being framed for this shooting.

The sexual assault cannot be forgotten about once it happened, his character was destroyed, he is a pervert and always will be.

I've seen rapists reformed before. Todd on One Life to Live lead a gang rape of Marty but they redeemed him a bit and made him the anti-hero and became one of the shows most popular characters ever.

Yeah but emmerdale isn't really doing that with him kissing gabi, stalking and taking pics of belle and the Lawrence drama, he's a screw up!

I think that's a very dangerous and irresponsible way to go Mark.

I think kissing Gabby was an honest mistake now as for the stalking Belle, I don't expect them to make him into a good kid like say Jacob but just show he has other sides to him so the audience will find him sympathetic.

He's anyone ever seen the film boy A with Andrew Garfield? It's an amazing film that shows a child who commits an awful crime trying to rebuild his life as an adult, that film changed my opinion on cases like this.

IDK I would hope people can change. Now in the case of Todd they didn't fully redeem him he was never a good guy, he just went from being a rapist to being someone like Cain, Aaron or Ross. I think it worked out well there weren't any complaints from the fans. I could see them going this route with Lachlan and I'd be ok with it.

I know the actor who played Todd did have a hard time with them redeeming his character, he left the show for awhile and when he came back he refused to do any sex scenes because he didn't want them to be romanticizing a former rapist.

Was he young and hot? If so that could be the reason why he became one of the show's most popular characters.

He was younger at the time of the rape story I never found Todd attractive but then again I grew up watching him, I was a kid when they did the gang rape story.
