Short term Line rental
Hi, looking for some advice, I am looking for anyone who provides short term line rental - ideally month by month but would take 3 months. I have E-mailed BT re Basics but don't hold out much hope with my past experiences of BT.
Thanks |

Zen will do 1 month. I don't know if they're necessarily the best deal, but they don't lock you in. Identical service to BT themselves.
https://www.zen.co.uk/yourhome/phone/ If I remember correctly, BT Basic requires you to have some sort of entitlement - you have to be on a very low income, and/or in receipt of certain benefits, etc. |

You haven't said why you need a 'landline'.
There are a couple of other ways: if you want a local 'landline' number, Sipgate Basic offers a PAYG service, where you get a free local VOIP number, which can forward to a mobile phone, or be used with a VOIP phone plugged into a router, or be used with a VOIP app like 3CX on a mobile phone. Or if you need a 'landline' type phone handset, there are SIM-Free GSM handsets that take a sim card but operate like fixed line handsets. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Sourcingbay...+desktop+phone |
