Which Long-term Character would you axe from Eastenders?
So put of everyone that has been in the show prior to 2014. I will include 2013 characters such as Mick and Linda. Recasted characters also not included so no Ben, Steven or Johnny. I will add a section towards returnees, recasts and Newer characters but as they are easier picks I'm less interested in who out of those you'd axe.
Poll being added. |

It's Multiple choiceI would axe myself: (reason included) Jane (although should have been in the returnee section) - Can't stand her. Vile character. Dot - More for June's health sake really Mick - Can't stand him or the actor. Whitney: Ran her course imo. The Listed Mitchells (bar Jay) as all of them apart from Ben, Jay and Honey (2 of which are in the return section anyway) I can't stand. Billy has long since passed his sell by date and should have been axed years ago. How he is still around I don't know. Phil and Ronnie are both vile and I can't stand either of the controlling bullies. Roxy has ran her course and needs keeping away from Ronnie.and Sharon is a doormat and she and Phil make each other worse and more unbearable. Patrick, Denise and Kim: Honestly beginning to feel like Patrick has little to stick around for and has ran his course. Denise can be dull but occasionally is great but she is dull most of the time. Kim is just annoying. |

I think Lady Di should be murdered by one of the residents, in a classic who done it case, running two years.

![]() Just so happens it's mostly characters who have been in for years I can't stand or Ran their course xD It seems SOC is taking the easy option Characters introduced during the last producers era should be immune as its always them

All the Carters except Linda.
Whitney has also served her purpose, whatever that was. |

Billy Mitchell is no longer relevant, Whitney is meaningless now too. The new Johnny is blander than milk and Lee Carter isn't great either. Move them on along with The Mitchell sisters.

Tina I can see going once her and Sonia inevitability split for good in the future [probably in a way that makes Tina look extremely shallow - not that she isn't a bit - aka Sonia getting both or a one breast removed leading her to cheat / have an affair]. She certainly doesn't seem to fit with the rest of the square anymore [when she does rarely appear].
I'd move Whitney on too [hopefully with a healthy baby, following the inevitable initial STD scare]. She doesn't deserve to be lumbered with Lee, I mean, I feel for the guy [as I suffer with depression too], but they look like they've been growing apart long before the Abi / Mick / Baby stuff, imho. Best for both of them to nip it in the bud soon as. Also Mas soon. He just seems to be hanging around pinning for another woman [if it's not Denise, it'll be Carmel] every other month now.
