What a shame that all his family except above have left the square.

He's not close to them. He had nothing to do with Pete really (his and Ian's dad) and was brought up by Pat's second husband, Brian Wicks. Plus, David had an affair with Cindy, Ian's wife. He did kind of know Steven in the 90's, but him, Bianca, Joe (David's son) and her kids aren't close to the rest of the Beale/Fowler family. Bianca didn't know her father until she was 17/18 and Ian has rarely treated her as his niece.

There's no relation between 'Louie' and any of the others. J-B Jr. is my son.

It would be brilliant if they could persuade Michael French to return as David Wickes or as has been mentioned bring back Simon Wickes now Steven is back living in the square.

He's always been portrayed as selfish and unable to settle and left his wife and children long before he was introduced on Eastenders and reintroduced to Ian etc.

I like him when he is playing the family man.
