Isn't it just. So CBB is going to be full of people who auditioned for the X-factor, appeared on awful reality shows. Apart from Biggins, there isn't a celebrity yet.
I said after someone was moaning about Biggins going in that we won't get any better than him. That's easily being confirmed.

As I just said on another thread - this sums up the UK Entertainment Industry!! Nobody wants to be a serious actor/actress these days, they all want to be Reality TV clowns! The UK does not possess any kind of talent capable of producing real TV any more, there is far too much trash like TV thanks to the likes of Channel 4 & 5. The very few actors/actresses we do possess all head out to America & who can blame them when they are shunted on their own country's TV stations for this trash!!!
As I just put on another thread, I don't mind people like Aubrey. I've never heard of her, but she is a singer, she has a talent, but the reality lot? No thanks

Agreed. There were more "celebrities" in the series that just ended. Channel 5 would have got more value out of extending the civilian version, instead of insulting us with these reality nobodies

Oh the talent is still there and plenty of people want to be serious actors. It's just that reality TV costs mere pennies to make so TV channels go for the cheap option that brings in big viewing figures.

Which is why I said they all leave for the States. If I were a serious actor I would do exactly the same. The UK Entertainment Industry really 'scrapes the barrel' not just this CBB line up. This series is summing up our TV Industry!!
