Anyone notice some shots of the crowd after he said 'Boom!!' and they just didn't react in any way other than have a blank look on their faces that said "What a dikchead"?

I think the only reason his catchphrase is BOOM is so that when he gets booed on his eviction night he'll just kid himself they're shouting BOOM back at him. Pitiful.

What decade was his fame at its peak? Even if I'm not of an age to have been totally living through his high point, I'd normally stil know of him if he had a high career point somewhere that made him really known at the time.
I know of Sam Fox even though I was not of an age to be engaged in her nude/music career moments.
He seemed very over excited, perhaps had too many sips of something beforehand! No doubt we'll see a more calm side come the next morning/day edit, and maybe he'll even be more coherent than just 'boom' and bursing out laughing.

That's who I thought it was going to be when the name first came up. But then I forgot that Heavy D died a few years ago.

It's like introducing Jay Z, only to find out in the reveal that it's some bloke who runs a fish and chip shop who happens to use the same name.
He was also in the American storage hunters as well as the English one. He did both, as did the black guy whose name I've forgotten and Jessie. Not storage wars, storage hunters USA.

Exactly. He'll get fed up with the fake jolly persona, be crying in the diary room and will probably try and break out. I've no idea who he is though, although the Essex/Newcastle/Beech clique seemed to know him (that says it all),
