She was nice but she was also really desperate and try hard. She kept changing her identity every week and then saying this version was the real her.

People also disliked her as she kept being put through even when she messed up- she was in the bottom two like 4 or 5 times and stayed over more talented contestants and she messed up in her audition and judges houses but was put through over better singers. They should have blamed the judges.

I agree she had it really rough. I thought she was a good singer but given terrible song choices. "Bewitched" as an example FGS.

Maybe she has just grown up a little and matured.

I thought she was fine on TXF...it's how she's been since then that's bothered me. The only things I've ever read about her is what she's had to say about Cheryl. I'm not a Cheryl fan by any stretch, but Katie seems to come out with a lot of hate for her. Maybe she feels that Cheryl wasn't supportive during her stint or whatever, but Gawd, she's said some nasty things about her since. It comes across to me like she's b*tching about her as it's the only way she knows how to stay relevant.

And, imo the LAST thing she needs to do is 'get in' with the young UK crowd as suggested on this thread. Why will that benefit her? They are not the be-all and end-all, despite what some posters seem to think. She'd be better off making friends with Aubrey and Chloe and leave "our" homegrown stars🙄 to make tits of themselves.

Out of all of them, Katie and Ricky are the only 2 HMs I'd want to have a conversation with. She seems like a sweet girl.
