I watched 'I, Claudius' again only a few weeks ago. What a great series it was.

Here's a pic of a young Biggins as Nero:

I don't even care to own a mobile phone anymore so no app for me either, but I did vote for the secret boss malarkey via the C5 BB website tonight, so you could always vote for future things from there, if you wanted to.

You gotta love 'im!

I thought 'get Biggins out' as well, and then the rest of the cast arrived.

I know, he's quite sedate compared to some of the others.

I agree! Laughing seems to annoy some people though. Better than being a miserable old git that gets pleasure winding folk up!

He *might* turn out to actually be a genuinely pleasant and affable feller you know? lets give him a week at least before deciding.

Me too, I don't mind him. He was in the original Poldark and has been in a few TV dramas.

Me too and from the first time I ever set eyes on him.

I so hope he doesn't go on to win this along with the other stuff he's been allowed to win. People in the industry seem terrified to say anything bad about him.

No. Sorry, but I can't abide him. I've seen enough of him not only in IACGMOOH but also in programmes like The Wright Stuff, Loose Women, etc. More than enough.

And the rocky horror movie of course! Where he does nothing other than eat a cake and still weirdly stands out amidst the other transalvanians.

Same here, and Come Dine with Me, which of course, he won!

I've never watched IACGMOOH (I'm not down with insect snuff) did we see a nasty side to him on there? Or was it just an irritating side?

What an ageist thing to say. John MCririck did it so If Biggins thinks he is up to it then why not?

Yeah, it is a stupid thing to say - that Star Trek guy, he was in his 70s wasn't he?

I'm not down with the insect stuff either. I tend not to watch those bits. It was a long time ago, but I think a bit nasty and very, very irritating.

Wasn't he the host of some kids teatime show, something about the Jungle or Safari or something like that. I also vague recally Gillian whatsherface from Eastenders being in it as some deep voiced dolly bird in a grass skirt.

He is anything but a ' genuinely pleasant and affable feller'

I watched the LF when he was on IAC

when he thinks the camera is not on him he is very unpleasant

I suppose BB will give him a good edit and you wont see the unpleasant side, thats where LF is a loss to us viewers

If you saw LF you would have said his nasty side

most who saw LF were disgusted he won

He's repulsive. A horrible, bitchy man, He was awful on IAC, really nasty to Janice Dickinson. Then a few years back he appeared on Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two on the the Friday panel and was really nasty about Dani Harmer who was a contestant on it at the time, saying she was boring and forgettable, which may have been so, but she was 19 years old at the time whilst he was a bloke in his 60's, and I thought it was a really unpleasant thing to say about someone who was little more than a kid taking part in a dance competition.

Then, in light of evidence to the contrary, I withdraw my previous speculation!

I simply couldn't believe it when he won. Janice Dickinson was the clear star of the show.
