Katie was one of the few that actually sung before they went on the show which was why she was my favorite. I cannot be doing with the wannabee's who either want it all handed to them on a plate or looking for 5 minutes of fame - much like BB I guess.

Unfortunately for people like Katie who are singers before appearing on the show, they just get used in the name of entertainment. Singers should give X-Factor a very wide berth!!

It won't make any difference to Katie! She's based in America now & has no interest in Cheryl. Hardly likely to cross paths as Cheryl certainly won't be taking on America any time soon after her last disastrous attempt!
I don't see why Katie is so annoyed with Cheryl. Cheryl supported Katie the whole way through the competition even though she was hated by the public and messed up her lines. Cheryl actually favoured Katie and Cher compared to her other contestants.

I can't believe that after 6 years any contestant on the X Factor trusted the judges.
Look at the amount of times they describe a contestant as being world class or having a huge international career in front of them.
You'd have to be thick to trust them.
But I imagine that you'll probably have contestants even now who put all their trust in them after 12 years of meaningless platitudes and failed promises from the judges.

Well when someone says at a later date they only put you through because you make good TV that kinda says they didn't believe in you as an artist! When you are mentored by supposed famous artists themselves & they put you through that is like an endorsement for the future that they recognised your talent. Now she knows that wasn't the case!

Exactly! I know people who have auditioned.....enough said! I stopped watching the show this very series Katie was in it. I have no respect for any judges on this show, never will have. It's sickening!!

Katie messed up her audition and judges houses performance. From what Cheryl had seen, she had no reason to believe in her as an artist. At the time Cheryl even said her reasons for putting her through was she found her fascinating, not that she was an outstanding artist.
I think Katie also disliked Cheryl before the book as Cheryl spent more time with Cher and didn't keep in touch post show.
X Factor went from a period of humiliating initial auditonees ...to selecting a few naff acts for the live shows ...to setting up a reasonably good singer to bully. Katie Weasel wasn't an amazing singer but she was hounded by the press, X factor editing and portrayal. She was bullied by the big machine. She was vilified in her portrayal. It was relentless looking back. Thankfully, X Factor has moved on form this bullying mentality. I ahd]ted the vulnerable auditions being manipulated no ridiculed.

Oh hardly, you may not like her or find her talented (fair) but she is still one of the biggest celebs in the UK and has her 5th solo album coming this year. Just because she isn't on X Factor again doesn't make her a has-been, she is still successful.

I'd say she has interest in Cheryl. The ONLY thing I've read about Katie in the last 5 years or so has been her sl@gging Cheryl. About her marriages, weight, she has something to say about it all. Fair enough, she's probably asked about it by the gutter press, but that's all I've seen her comment on. I hope she uses this opportunity to move on and not another platform to have a dig. I liked what I saw of her last night, she has the potential to be a decent housemate.
McGiffen asked her in her pre house interview and it was shown on BOTS last night.
