you have to wait for it...

what should happen eventually (because its frankie grande's core nature) is that he'll nose out the "cool kids" and start sucking up to them, while finding some other people to talk nasty about behind their backs.

I was waiting for boos and hisses when he came on but they may follow later if he lives up to all of the hype!!

I liked him on USBB and I know I was in a minority

I feel I should qualify it a bit and say I liked him as a HM. I remember on one occasion when his task partner abandoned their task and he carried on by himself and though it was ridiculous to do on your own he won I think. I might have got the result wrong but I know I was a little bit in awe of him as a HM and competitor.

He did this in the live feed. He was in the Pebble Room (now the Moroccan Room) with Bear doing a bit of bonding.

So was I!

Were the audience directed to be positive tonight? I think James was the only person to get booed tonight. I don't know if people were booing or shouting "boom" at Boom (who I'm refusing to call "Heavy D").

I was actually wondering why Frankie was on CBB here as I didn't think anyone would know who he was (not that that stops C5 from filling up the show with unknowns, of course!) I didn't realise he'd been on CBB in the US before. I didn't even know that the US version of CBB was shown in the UK for people here to know him! What channel is it usually on here? I personally only know Frankie via Miranda Sings. I've been to some of her shows (she's hilarious) and he was at a couple of them, a few years ago, performing with her as well as singing some songs on his own. I thought he was very talented and quite funny. I've never seen him on anything else.

There is no CBB in the USA. We just have regular BB which is completely different from BBUK. There is no public vote since the housemates vote out one of the 2-3 nominated housemates up for eviction (placed there by the Head of House which was won by a competition)

He was hated so much by the whole of the house, because of the way he had behaved and the things he had said and done, that they all wanted him out. In that task it was a fight for survival and his partner wanted him gone as much as all the others so he had an agreement with the others that he would throw the task and not compete with Frankie.

I remember they argued and he just sat down and refused to compete with Frankie, he had already agreed to lose with the others so that he and Frankie would become the bottom two and they would chose Frankie to leave, so Frankie had to go on alone and he won and saved himself, his luck ran out in the end though and he was given the boot, It's OK to be competitive but the way Frankie plays the game takes the word sly to a whole different level.

Ah, I see, thanks.. I've never seen the US BB as I didn't think it was shown here in the UK. I guess it's probably on a satellite channel that I don't subscribe to. I was wondering how Frankie would be known over here and what he might have been on over here, that I wasn't aware of. I didn't realise he'd been on the US version of BB or that it was shown here. Anyway, thanks again for explaining.

BBUS isn't aired in the UK, people just have their ways (often illegal ways) of watching it.

Just like how civilian BBUK and CBB aren't shown here in the USA....but there are ways of watching it

You're welcome
I don't consider Frankie a celebrity. He was just a contestant on one reality show here. I'm not familiar with anything else he did. I watch BB USA so I just know him, and dislike him, from that show. I'll try not to be biased when watching him now but he is already annoying me with his "trademark" glitter. He is strategic, intelligent and good at competitions however despite all that, I still don't like him (too much like Ryan from BBUK 17 but even more offensive....).

I quite liked him from last night. I'm not going to judge on people's impressions from BBUS because that's a different game entirely. Aren't they SUPPOSED to be manipulative? Anyway, I like him so far.

I liked him too. Even when he was in his outrageous shouty-shouty mode he wasn't annoying me at all.

I'm sure he has his bad points like most but the point is although BBUS is meant to be for gameplayers you often see very weak gameplay with a house just uniting and agreeing so they can have an easy run. Ironically 'gameplay' can become as much a dirty word as on the UK version, weird but true.

with his sister there's the odd dichotomy that she is genuinely talented (although her diction is HORRIBLE she's got a great voice otherwise--including being a great mimic if you ever look up the clips of her doing vocal impressions), but many people who have encountered her in person say that the moment there isn't a camera on her, she turns into a huge diva.
