Biggins is at least honest he needs the fee to pay for his Queen of Camp lifestyle but don't see him as a celebrity.

How does a crackpot (BOOM) cast member of Storage Hunters UK qualify as a celebrity? You might as well stick a nametag on the golden Zebra and call it a celebrity because it has had air time on BB.

Got to remember, this is the world of Channel 5 (and part MTV). The term "Celeb" is targeted to those types (also ITV Be and daytime ITV lovers). This is the mistake people make when they get their hopes up to high.

I still smirk remembering when Celebrity Love Island was forced to drop the "Celebrity" due to the calibre of Islander

that we will get an actual celebrity in the house.....

Instead we have the usual crew

1. The camp loud guy.....Frankie.
2. The USA housewife .....who has had so much Botox she looks like a Ninja Turtle.
3. The attractive young women who will battle it out to get their tops off first.*
4. Samantha Fox the one time Sun Stunner...now happily in a same sex relationship.
5. The grumpy older man with the stinging wit... James Whale.

* seems Marnie is the first to get them out.

No one expects A celebs, but why cant we get a couple of B's. A karl pilkington and a ricky tomlinson. A fearne cotton and a dame edna everage. Not much to ask is it.

Why would they bother go on a show like BB on this particular channel? those guys are better of waiting for "Get me out" or "Come dancing" better ratings, better channels....

And still, there will be people saying they never heard of any of them.

I don't think ch5 can afford the ch4 grade celebrity. Remembering the likes of
Jackie Stallone 'yeah. Jackie'. Michel jacksons brother, sister, etc etc

The problem can be easily fixed by banning the inclusion of 'reality tv z- Listers
Those kids whom are all covered in nursery scribbles. Ban them. Then hire real 'stars'

Thing is, not a lot of big ones want to be involved.
Real celebs to me are people who have starred in big films. Or had over 20 years of hits.
Cliff, Elton, Joan Collins, Mick Jagger., or news readers. Trev McDonald, Dimbleby brother, sports people - Eric cantona. Ian wright. Gary lineker etc etc.

All the above would never accept. And that's the prob big names and the fee from the channel ch5 could not stretch to this
