The line is certainly blurry. Lateysha, for sure, fits the criteria for CBB.

alex is to boring to be in any show.

Laura is a zz lister (on a e4 show, 'model')

Jayne is a zz lister (was in the press for shagging famous men, was a 'model')

Jason is a zz lister (his arse is in movies staring Batista)

Ryan is a zz lister (x factor fool)

The Twins are zz listers (extras on towie, stared in a Dyson ad, 'models')

The only difference between the regular BB and CBB is about 3 'above z list' celebs now, and a couple of American z listers.

They should have just merged the 2 this year!

It looks as though all you have to do to get on celeb big brother is to have appeared on ex on the beach or be a x factor reject.

It's easy to say that in retrospect as we know them quite well now.

I had never heard of either of them, but if alex had entered cbb for a claim to fame of being a freind of vicky pattison then that would have got absolutely slated on here too

I had heard of Andy West because of the stand he took against a homophobic candidate in the BBC's for Sports Personality of the Year contest. He was in the national news on radio and TV.

Yeah but the thing is all these three, Andy, Lateysha or Alex acted like civilians.

They had no star appeal at all.

Well ex on the beach and gerodie shore are on the same panel of shows as the valleys (lateeysha) and judge geordie (vicky and alex actually did a tv series together, not too dissimilar from the us catfish series, they helped out individuals who asked them for help).


And i Have been to the mtv offices in London, there are still framed posters of the valleys and lateeysha up in the hallways! (Not too far from the bb diary room latest chair!)

Generally I prefer BB to CBB but just wish they could find more 'interesting' cohorts of housemates than we have had lately.

Neither had I. None of the civilian hms were familiar to me at all.

I don't know all the CBB hms, but do know some (even if just by reputation).

The CBB lot get paid to enter the house. Can you imagine alex actually getting paid for what he brought to the house?

I'm not sure what panel of shows means but what I do know is the viewing figures for Geordie Shore far outweighed Lateysha's show which I've never even heard of and as for Ex on the Beach it was on ITV so it too will have had a larger audience / wider reception.

As for Judge Geordie that show completely fell flat and Alex was just the driver in it

I'd agree that some of the housemates on civilian BB since C5 took it over have felt for like CBB housemates. Zoe from Pop Idol is another one who felt like she should have been in CBB

think they went on bb thinking they could win because of their followers. maybe they thought they stood more of a chance. alex zzzzzzz.

Panel of shows meaning all owned by the came company, hence the flurry of us mtv stars in uk bb. Also ex on the beach was mtv, love island is the one on itv.

I just think after so many eps off cbb we know it doesnt take much to become a celebrity bb housemate so it was surprising they would use alex and leteeshya in regular rather than save them for a cbb series at some point
