No, because Lane is her maiden name. Shaw is her married name so the child's last name will be Shaw as well.

I might have inadvertently given Paula (and Tom) an idea! It is just a pity that they followed convention and had Paula take Tom's surname rather than vice versa.

As a homage to Paula's character the middle name Kylie would have been a fitting legacy. I just reckon Paula will want to diversify her acting career. I was going to ask what if Paula doesn't like Kylie Minogue, but then I realised everyone has come to like princess Kylie Minogue!

Paula might not have taken her husband's name, but their children will. She might be Paula Lane both professionally and in real life, or she might be Paula Lane professionally and Paula Shaw for other purposes.
