I quite agree - Jamie was very funny and even Ian would be preferable to Rylan. Most of the programme is taken up with the crowd screaming and whistling - I turn the sound off continually. It's quite a relief it's not on at the weekends now! I don't think I'll bother with BBOTs this time round - just watch the Highlights show.

One doesn't simply act like Russell Brand.

It's the noise level that gets me every time.
It's like - scre-eam - watching - shrie-eek - a kids' birthday party - whooooop - where they've overdosed - yeee-ell - on E numbers.

Even on the odd occasion when they have a panellist who's worth listening to [ie, definitely not John McCririck] it's an hour long trial.

And I completely agree about the 'look at me - ME!! ME!!!' antics of the audience. Ugh.

I can't stand that woman - mouthing words, constantly grinning, screaming and fake laughing

I want to see the exclusive clips etc but not "the entertainment", or the loud, annoying audience (I used to like the audience years ago but now it's all guffawing, shouting over eachother and "look at me" ish) or the annoying panel guests who yell like the audience (some, not all, of them). I really liked it years ago but now it's like a cheap, chintzy knock off of what it once was. I can't be bothered to sit through all the stupid stuff to get a crumb of exclusive news.

If it was a choice between LF and BBBOTs, LF would always win with me. I prefer LF to the regular HL show too. I used to switch it on in the background while I was working, cooking, at bedtime etc and catch a real sense of the vibe in the house and the people. It used to be so revealing and really enjoyable. *Sigh*

She was awful last night worst I've ever saw her I'm turning my tv down more and more every night when bots is on it's like a kids party after a smartie overdose at this rate I'll be watching with subtitles I do like Rylan but I wish they would all tone the screeching and hysterics back and bring back Iain Lee.

I used to use LF to drop off to late at night, then BB5 fight night happened, not a very relaxing night's kip

God yeah. And Rylan always asking if he need to "buy a hat" for any showmance wedding that might be forthcoming. That was Cilla Black's line about 100 years ago.

Yawn.

I don't think it's all Rylan's fault really - I think the idea behind Bbots is to ramp up the hysteria and make it FUN. And they seem to pander to the younger audience rather than a good mix. It's gone way over the top in the last 2 years imo and the noise is so dire you can't hear anybody, what with them all shouting their opinions over everyone else.

they always have the same guests on & the audience have the same opinions because they don't get anyone new, if I see Vicky pattinson again (we will because of Marnie) does she ever go away SICK of her

However bad it is, it could never be as bad as the era when they had that sweaty Brummie guy, Ian (just one of the production crew, I think) who used to monitor social media and have a regular slot on the show. Sometimes there was another of the behind-the-scenes guys who did a double-act with him. It was DIRE!

I thought it was better - not because of the things you mentioned (they used to go to the sweaty box without any time left to actually have a conversation in there more often than not), but because they used to have calls from viewers and friends and family etc. Now I presume (haven't watched it for a while) there's just Rylan twerking instead as his adoring audience sing and shriek.

For anyone who watches and any Jayne fans, she just told me on Twitter that she's on Monday night.

Think I'll give it a watch.

I detest Ian Lee. I actually still like Rylan, but the way the show is done is unbearable. It is probably the producers that are probably to blame. Why all the SHOUTING?
