Is anybody familiar with the U80 and/or U81 error messages displayed on Panasonic equipment?
The official line from Panasonic is:
I have spoken to quite a few people recently who have been told by Panasonic that this is caused by 4G interference but when speaking to the company responsible for resolving 4G interference, this appears not to be the case.
Just curious as to what the error could mean if not 4G-related?

“The U80 or U81 that has been displayed is a self-diagnostic fault code, this would require the attentions of a Panasonic approved service repair agent. It also can indicate a weak signal. This is not an inherent fault with the product but a guide for the engineer to know where, within the product, he should seek the cause of the problem.
With either of these error messages the aerial may need an adjustment or possible upgrade. During the EPG download, if there is noise on the data lines due to poor signal, the unit can go into U80 or U81.”
